The best stay experience for a trip to Azu volcano. The forest is advanced, quiet and comfortable, and the bathrooms in the clean carriages are fully equipped. Maybe it's badly built, the key doesn't go in and it doesn't lock. When I called the front desk, a female staff member came immediately, but she said, ”Please wait a moment,” and left without a word for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes had passed, a male staff member finally arrived, but he said, ”We can't move rooms because they are fully booked. We will call a contractor to fix it.” Do I have to?” When I asked, he said, ”Since there was a canceled room, please go to that room.” For dinner, I had the ”Akaushi course”, but there were also extremely few dishes. Red beef is a small amount of beef about 2 x 5 cm thick and 5 mm thick, about 3 small bowls, and a little horse sashimi and sashimi. This is the first time I've had such a small amount of food at a hot spring inn. It may be good for small eaters. Also, the foreign staff brought the chawanmushi, but for some reason it was placed on the table instead of on a plate with a spoon for chawanmushi. As for the private bath, when I went early in the morning, there was a used toothbrush and floss on the edge of the bath. It's gross even if it's not in the corona misfortune. At checkout, not a single word of apology was given. Is it because I changed rooms that the matter has already been resolved? Is it just a makeshift lie that I will tell the staff at the morning meeting? This is my first time staying at this inn. It's unthinkable that a hotel can't be locked, and it's unthinkable to leave it alone for half an hour. We stayed for one night from July 9 (Sat) and stayed with a couple in the Japanese style room ”Nikwa” on the third floor. What I was worried about was that the closet was an old Japanese house, and it smelled mold without lighting, and the mattress on the bed was a little too hard, and the view was not good even on the third floor. The bath was a pure source hanging water, which did not heating, water or circulation, and the hot water temperature was just right, and it was a very good quality hot spring as rumored. However, the size is small and there is no open-air bath. I also used ”taruyu” in the rental bath, but it was well maintained and very comfortable. The meal was ”red beef steak seat”. There were many items and all were very delicious, but I thought that the red beef of the heart was a little fat and the mountain woman fish was quite small. The service was made to be a woman from Nepal, but there were several points that I was worried about, such as vertically distributing rectangular dishes of incense. I think this is a problem of staff training. Overall, it is a very old established inn with a very historical style, and it is well understood that it is carefully maintained, and it is thought that it is a hot spring inn with a taste. I felt that the charm of this inn was exhausted by the word ”good quality hot spring”.

Stayed here for 1 night, I personally really love dinner and breakfast buffet, variety of choices especially local beef and sashimi. Hotel also provides private Onzen for proviate use and gaming room. but its location is quite far from Train station, it is more convenient by driving a car and park at hotel. Room price is reasonable and the room is also clean and tidy. I definitely will stay here again if I visit Aso next time.

On the way to Aso Mountain by self-driving yesterday, there was a traffic accident in the barren mountains and wild mountains. Everyone was fine, but the car could no longer move. The car rental company arranged for a tow truck. I originally wanted to cancel the booked hotel, but the hotel actually said to pick us up🥹. As a result, the hotel took 1.5 hours to come and another 1.5 hours to go back. Originally one meal and two meals, they actually left dinner for us, very touched. In the morning of the second day, the hotel manager actually said that he could rent another car for us, and even drove us to pick up the car so that we could continue our journey. Their service is really good.

Go from the front desk to the back and cross the bridge on the river and enter the building with the room. It is a clean and rustic inn. In addition to the open-air bath and the public bath, there are ６ rental baths that are aimed at each. The bath is free to enter if it is empty rather than a reservation system. It is also convenient to be able to confirm ”empty” on the TV in the room. The meal is served in a private room prepared for each room near the front desk in the morning and evening. It was not a menu that was aimed at, but it was a dish with a feeling of handmade. From the pick-up, the guide, the meal waiter and one person were in charge. I had a service that matched the pace of the customer without hurrying. In the morning, he was sent to the master of the inn and received a handwritten thank you later.

It runs on the Yamanami highway to the Beppu area, and turns left from the intersection with national route 442 where the main rest house of Se is located to the Kurokawa Onsen area. When I sit in my seat and look at the drink menu, the drink using ginger seems to be delicious. When Mr. Nakai came, I ordered ”Ginger Amazake”, which is said to have the least alcohol. The food is also carried in good order. The dishes unique to Kumamoto such as special marbled horse sashimi and Kumamoto Misai beef and Higo red chicken are delicious. However, the yakiniku in the room smells on the clothes. Breakfast is usually served in the hall on the first floor, but it is a lunch box in each room to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. The rice is cooked in a pot using shichijo rice, and the side dish is delicious breakfast called ”Ogunigo no Rokuhon”, shichijo rice, maitake mushroom and Minamiseki fried miso soup. The inn was friendly and the response was good and the hot spring was comfortable.

Visited in March. You can enjoy a cave bath, an open-air bath up the stairs, and an indoor bath. The cave bath was a calming bath. The meal is not too much and it is a delicious dinner. I couldn't eat rice, so when I asked, I was happy to make rice balls. The point was that there was a coffee maker in the lobby and you could drink delicious coffee at any time. The casual service was nice. Cospa is a very satisfying hot spring inn with good.

I stayed with my eldest son's family of 4 who live in Kumamoto.They said they had never stayed at Kurokawa Onsen even though they had lived in Kumamoto for about 6 years, so they came all the way from Saitama to pay all the expenses to us.I wonder what's going on. (lol) The accommodation was a large inn in Kurokawa Onsen, but we entered the hot springs at 4pm, 8pm, and 7am the next day, but for some reason we had almost exclusive access to the hot springs.We had a large indoor bath surrounded by a bamboo grove, and a Japanese cypress bath. There are three hot springs: two, an open-air bath, and a hot spring with an open-air bath that can be used by visitors.The second one was probably the best.The quality of the spring water is simple.The room was an ordinary Japanese-style room, but you could hear the sound of a waterfall from the river flowing beside it. The meal was a buffet, and the tuna sushi with red vinegar was excellent.Afterwards, we had various types of skewers, amberjack sashimi, roast beef, and my elementary school grandson ate 5 rolls of eel, which was overeating.There were all-you-can-drink shochu drinks. We were able to compare the drinks! The shochu from Kurokawa Onsen was delicious, and the breakfast buffet included natto and milk that were locally produced and delicious.At night, we got to see Jupiter and the moon through an astronomical telescope, and my grandson was impressed! I didn't go for a walk around the city due to the cold weather, so I just stayed at the inn, but I was able to take it easy.I think this is an inn that families can enjoy together.

Because of the unreliable reservation of agoda, I made a reservation here at the last minute. But I didn't expect it to be such a great experience. It is a separate accommodation.
