Casa Berno Panorama Resort

July is a busy time of the year and Ticino is in peak season. We took two connecting rooms for our family. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The building is a bit dated but the condition of the rooms and lobby are still decent. Rooms facing the lake have an amazing view! It’s very nice to sit on the terrace after dinner and enjoy a relaxing view of the lake. The breakfast is nice in the morning. Gets busy so better to be a little early. We enjoyed the pool on most days. The water is cool and fresh, making a nice respite from the hot summer day. Location is nice if you are arriving by car. Private road to reach the hotel and nearby there are many walking, hiking or biking options. There is a great little park and children’s playground a few minutes drive down the road in the direction of the main town. There are many cute and interesting grottos nearby to enjoy a nice dinner alfresco. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Very simple room,air cooling super noisy like a tractor , no coffee machin nor water boiler....for a 4 star at 450 euro...

Casa Berno is amazing for numerous reasons. Beautiful view and great friendly staff. All of front desk and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Manuela and Erika and others at front desk.

😊4 night stay ( April 28th). Great service from walking in the door on the 28th to departing on May 2nd😊👍.. Everything about Casa Berno is 1st class ⭐.. Spotless throughout, with a level of service that was equally ⭐... It is easy to see why Ulrike, who manages the restaurant ,has been at the hotel for over 30 years..in a word she was outstanding!😊. There is plenty more I could say.. but maybe just try it for yourself 😊👍⭐. Ps: thankyou to everyone 😊

Fabulous hotel. Spotlessly clean. Incredible views. Staff super friendly. Fabulous swimming pool with jacuzzi jets. Lovely sauna with panoramic views. Spa area is relaxing and smells great. Only small negatives... No double bed, I think they are all singles put together. Lighting in restaurant at night is too bright, therfore not creating an evening ambiance. Great shuttle bus service.

Overall Impression: The Sol Foundation conference was worthwhile, though less engaging than expected. The venue felt cramped, and the bed was undersized and uncomfortably firm. Dining was disappointing by Italian standards—uninspired dishes, with off-tasting bacon and overly runny eggs, compounded by unaccommodating restaurant staff. Bar great ... kid in Hall ...Buzz off Highlights: The €100 massage was truly exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced—and the pool attendant was remarkably kind and attentive. Concerns: At checkout, the hotel attempted to charge €50 for pressing a dress I never owned, which was troubling. Recommendation: A pleasant location overall, but future guests should request a room upgrade and temper expectations regarding service and dining.

Our experience at Casa Berno was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful staff, nice spaces room, pretty comfortable bed, and amazing views from every corner! Highly recommend this property !!

Fantastic resort above Lago Maggiore Very nice hotel with stunning views over Lago Maggiore. Super friendly and helpful staff all around. Very nice breakfast buffet with additional orders fresh from the kitchen. We unfortunately stayed only one night, but we will be back.
