I generally do not leave reviews, but this experience was so bad I have to make an exception. The toilet did not flush. As a facilities manager, I figured okay, I'm tired, but I'll deal with this myself. So I jiggled the lever, and the flapper came down, and the tank filled. The next flush malfunctioned when the fill valve wouldn't fill the tank. So I figured okay, it's late, I'm beat, I'll just fill the plastic ice bucket with water from the sink, and pour it down the toilet. But when I brushed my teeth, the sink drain backed up. SAME thing with the tub/shower drain! At that point, I made them give me another room. TV in the new room went on when I pushed the button on the remote, but all I got was a screen full of "snow" (static), and there wasn't a second remote in the room. There was NO glass carafe in the coffeemaker. To add insult to injury, there was a black fly in my room. I had to trap it in the bathroom in order to sleep peacefully. This was the final night in a 2-week cross-countries road trip (Vegas to Montreal), and the first negative lodging experience I had! I always leave the chambermaids a cash tip when I leave, but was so disappointed I skipped it this time.
