there are 4 rooms with the best view to the pool, the rest has a view to the neighbor or to the street, not so nice. Is a small cozy pousada,. good mattresses good bathrooms. Good air conditioner. The staff ok, except Adams, he is a must, he is always solving any problem you can have, anything you need, asks him, Excellent concierge. Breakfast starts at 8:00, that is late, because the sun rises at 6 and go down at 5, so you loose at least 2 hours of beach time, because we had to wait the breakfast room to open. I would suggest opening break fast at 6. The pousada is right near joao fernandez beach, just walk for a few minutes and you are there. At least 20 minutes walking to downtown. I would go again. The swimming pool water was a little white, not clear enough, i guess too much sun blocker. Dont ask for drinks, too much water in those.

Once again, the Serena Hotel has surprised us for the service and quality of service! We stay in a huge and very comfortable room!!! Without talking about staff education and a beautiful breakfast!!! I always indicate!!! When we get back to the dive, we will certainly host here!! And now it will be with our baby that is already coming!!!

The service at the pool by the waiters, especially Danilo, deserves a round of applause. The menu has fair prices for different tastes and dishes. Everything very delicious. Don't forget to try the super filling shrimp pastry and the sun-dried meat with cassava. We didn't like the noise from the air conditioning, and the service from the reservations department, staff who were harsh in their responses. Excellent pool. Location note 1000

We had a wonderful stay at Casas Brancas! The hotel is stunning with amazing views over the water, especially at sunset. It's in a fantastic location so you can easily walk down to the main town. All of the staff are lovely, especially Gabriel who was very nice and attentive. The whole front office team were very helpful and most speak English, which was so helpful for us coming from Australia and not being able to speak Portugese or Spanish. We would definitely recommend staying here, and look to return someday in the future!
