I have traveled around the world and my stay at Sheraton Ankara was, for sure, one of my handful excellent experiences. The hotel was well maintained, really prime location in Ankara with immediate access to best restaurants, cafes, and shoppings. The city view from the room was beautiful. But above everything else, the staff were very polite and helpful. The lobby environment is very welcoming and beautiful, with a very nice bar at the center. I’d like to particularly thank Melek and Golsen who were extremely kind to me and my partner to host us at the bar. Staff and people always are the most important part of your experience when you stay somewhere, and Sheraton is certainly lucky to have people like them in their team.

We had an amazing experience at Lugal, a Luxury Collection Hotel. The customer service was outstanding. They were very helpful in obtaining our luggage that was lost by the airline. The staff also made every effort to make sure our other needs were met. For example when we first arrived I had told Aysima that I was suffering from jet lag. She had the hotel bar make me a drink that was known to help with that. It was delicious. Also she had the hotel provide breakfast to go for our family when we had a very early morning flight to catch. The hotel staff provided a very large platter of fruit in the room the night before our flight. All of the staff was super helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. They always seemed to be smiling. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the bathtub was wonderful. We really enjoyed the variety of coffee and tea provided in the rooms.Our whole family was very impressed with this hotel and with the people. We would definitely like to stay there again in the near future.

There is a very steep slope up at the front desk of this hotel, and the car is blocked as soon as it is more. It is rare to turn on a TV set and have programs in various languages. The hotel breakfast buffet is OK, but it is too wasteful for me, basically milk and fruit.

The facilities, rooms, and the morning breakfast were wonderful. This is a nice place for business traveller's, unfortunately this NOT a great place for families. Throughout our stay, the staff made us feel incredibly unwelcome in this place, as if we were much lower on the scale of importance than their business / government official guests. Whether we were in the lobby, visiting the pool, using the stairs, etc my wife and I were asked repeatedly if we just came off the street and whether we were really guests at the hotel. One or two times is fine, but after 8-10 times you begin to feel a bit unwelcome. The workers at the pool looked like they had never seen children before in their facility. One worker tried to tell us that our older children can only use the toddler pool, and that the normal pool was only for adults! When our family of 5 asked for pool towels they gave us 2-3 towels. When we asked for more towels later they took 5 minutes to call their boss and count out our previously used towels, while our children stood their shivering in the cold. They eventually gave us the towels but we were told that the reason for the delay was because we don't want to do extra laundry! 🤔 Overall, families coming for a relaxing holiday clearly doesn't fit into their normal demographic of clients. And the staff seemed to go out of their way to find direct or indirect ways of communicating this. NOT recommended for families with children!

It is a hotel that I would like to visit again as a hotel with the highest quality in every aspect of its price. The reception at the front desk, the cleanliness of the bedding in the room, and the cleanliness of the facilities in the room were very clean, which increased satisfaction. The drinks beach in the refrigerator, free water, amenities, and coffee were also good. The breakfast at the restaurant was neat, the bread tasted good, and compared to small hotels, it was deliciously prepared according to various essential types, and it will be memorable for a long time as the person in charge ate comfortably and deliciously at a beautiful restaurant that serves at a beautiful restaurant. I was in Ankara for a week on business at the Days Hotel. This is my honest review. Just I add that for some reason this hotel is ‘by Wyndham’ but the one week point collection stay was not added to my Wyndham rewards membership for some reason unknown to me. Most of the men working at the front desk and breakfast area are smokers. They stand in front of the main entrance smoking and when they walk into the lobby it smells like cigarette smoke. I stayed in Room 306 for a week. The first 2 days, the same song was on repeat in the entire general area and restaurant of the hotel. Butterfly by Maria & Whitney. They might need a new ‘hotel dj”. They did change this after I mentioned it to the lady at reception. Gizem at reception is amazing. She was very helpful with arranging transport, check-in and tourist information. At breakfast there is a fresh open buffet with an Automatic Coffee machine, the machine makes nasty instant bitter coffee and since the day I arrived it was not serviced, I asked the man and lady at the breakfast area why there is no hot chocolate and they said the service man doesn’t show up. That coffee machine needs maintenance service but no one seems to care. The servers offer filter coffee but I prefer and expected a Wyndham group hotel to have espresso type coffees. The butter in the buffet corner sits outside in room temperature without any kind of cooling. As stated on the label, the maximum temperature it should be stored at is 4 Celsius. The breakfast room temperature is about 20 Celsius. The breakfast overall is traditional Mediterranean buffet. It is acceptable for this business hotel. Yeter, the cleaning lady was very intelligent and had common sense. She even organized my cosmetics. The bed, towels and sheets are lovely clean and in good condition. The TV does not have screen casting and barely any English channels so if you want to watch Netflix bring your own HDMI cable and laptop. If you get lucky the WiFi in the hotel room might work. The Wi-fi at this hotel is unstable. As you can see in the photos, you enter your ID # and room #. I had to do this 5-6 times while getting cut off every 2-3 hours each day. In the evenings the wifi is very weak, impossible to have international video calls. At night after 12 the internet connection is completely cut off. I had trouble conducting video calls with the USA and Portugal. Yalin at the night shift reception could not help as he said the internet service man is not available so he could not fix the wifi problem. The reception & lobby (work area) has a completely different wifi system. Obviously the internet gateway company is not good. The Days Hotel claims to be a business hotel but I was disappointed with this wifi internet hassle every day and every night. You can not depend on this hotel for Wifi and internet reliability. The best points were the excellent room with the comfortable bed and the prime location.

My boyfriend stayed at this hotel and we thought it was a nice hotel because it was 4 stars. Although my boyfriend is a foreigner, we noticed that English is not spoken, but the next day we saw that a female foreign customer was very well taken care of, so I understand that you have to be a female customer to get attention in this hotel!!! Also, when I wanted to use the toilet in the corridor of the hotel, they treated me very rudely as if I was doing something wrong and I couldn't understand it. Only a young employee was polite, but it is not enough for one person to be polite. Of course, when my boyfriend said that he was surprised because English was not spoken to him, when I asked the reason for this to the rude and sullen staff at the reception, the answer I got was, again, very queer, ”But we speak English”, since they know. I don't think so, they probably have a level of Hello, how are you. Why did they refuse to help? It's a question mark. They may not speak English as well. Although they are a 4-star hotel in the heart of Ankara, then they should not present themselves as helping in English. But as far as I understand, they don't care about such individual tourists as this type of hotel serves tours. I think it's a shame for them to treat a tourist like this because such behaviors are also very disadvantageous in terms of country tourism. My advice, especially if you are a tourist, do not go, the location may be good, but location is not everything, service quality is very important in this era..

The location is amazing,very safe place and 1 minute walk distance to most popular avenue.Rooms are extra clean and luxury.I will definitely visit this place again as we enjoyed king room as a couple,however day shift reception staff were not happy to work as it was obvious from their behaviour, no welcoming, we entered the hotel and negatively they asked our IDs. No information given, no bellboy offered, and when we entered the reception they didn't even ask or tell anything as i told them that we had reservation.So nothing asked like 'how can i help you?' In this kind of quality hotels i wasn't expecting this.Moreover,they didn't even tell us our floor so i guessed it from the number on our card! During their shift all they did were staring at us badly when we were going in and out.Housekeeping lady were much more positive and helpful.After we checked in to our room approximately 30 minutes passed and i couldn't connect to wi-fi so i called reception and what they told me was they didn't start our check-in procedure into system so i should wait to connect wi-fi, what i mean here is we didn't see any guests checking in , hotel was not crowded and of course i thought that after they got our info and let us go to room of course check-in procedure should finish but what i heard was they didn't even start it. Another thing i should add here is , our room wasn't prepared for us as it had no complimentary water, no shampoo/shower gel, no towels. Thanksfully housekeeping lady found it out and brought us everything after half an hour passed from our checkin, i guess again it's receptionists mistake.Night time staff in the reception were much better and positive.Apart from that it is well located,close to embassies and attractions,well equipped rooms with real luxury and high tech.Enjoyed every minute of our stay in the room and the view as well! Already recommended to friends who will visit Ankara.
