Eshott Hall is beautiful and picturesque. The rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the bar and other rooms are extremely lovely to spend some time in. But what really makes Eshott Hall special are the folk who work there. We had such a warm welcome and were looked after so well during the weekend, that we'll definitely be back. Everyone was so friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. If you've never visited and fancy a very relaxed home from home, I absolutely recommend staying here.

We arrived here for a little break from Manchester, the place is stunning, remote and amazing views and grounds. Inside the staff are polite, welcoming and make you feel at home. Rooms are excellent and the food is top notch. I had the sirloin and it was easily the tastiest steak I've tried, plenty of little extras for free while we waited for food like fresh bread, and tasters. The chef here is great, service great, bar service great. Just couldn't fault a thing. Thank you and we will be back

We recently returned to Eshott Hall for the fifth time as part of our honeymoon, only to find a noticeable decline in the hotel's overall condition. The original room in the Stables, a familiar choice for us, was dishearteningly thick with dust, featured hairs in the bath, stains on chairs, and dirty carpets. The subsequent room in the main house wasn't any better, with dust, curly hairs in the sink and bath, dusty bed frames, lumpy mattresses, and more dirty carpets. It's evident that maintenance has been neglected over the past 18 months, both in the rooms and throughout the hotel's internal and external spaces. There was a lack of apology initially, but we hope to hear from the General Manager soon. Regrettably, this experience has led us to decide against returning to Eshott Hall. It's disappointing to witness a decline in quality and pride in a place we once held in high regard. On a positive note, we were able to secure a last-minute booking at Matfen Hall, saving our honeymoon from further disappointment.

We visited for my 60th birthday and our wedding anniversary. Room beautiful with the most comfortable bed. Views amazing. Staff helpful, friendly and very attentive. Food excellent. Eshott is a real treat!

We found this place by accident after an awful stay at a hotel the night before. From the moment we arrived we were given a warm welcome. Our rooting the grange was lovely. Very comfortable and really pretty. We are in the restaurant that night and the food was just wonderful. Breakfast the following morning was also wonderful. The grounds are also beautiful. We may have found this accidentally but we’ll definitely seek it out again.

We went to Eshott Hall to spend Valentines weekend and ended falling in love with it. Felt super welcomed and enjoyed a good reading + whiskey in the reading room. In the morning enjoyed breakfast which was included in our stay and went for a spring walk around the gardens. Absolutely magical. Would recommend to anyone who fancies a place like this. Will come back soon.

Eshott Hall is a wonderful building, set in beautiful grounds and surrounded by open countryside. The staff are superb without exception, and dining experience was lovely.

My wife and I stayed at Eshott Hall on a Sunday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is small and very well kept in nice grounds. Our room in the main hall was large and comfortable. We had Sunday lunch which was excellent and tgen an evening meal. Tge quality of tge food was top notch and staff extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend.
