The Beach Hotel (and its sister hotel, The Residence), is perfectly located right by the beach. The staff are warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The whole place is squeaky clean. We only had breakfast at the hotel. Great choice of foods, something for everyone. Local produce evident, including fresh baked bread, salads and fruit. Getting about is easy with two local hire car firms, a taxi company and cheap, frequent buses. Best thing about the hotel is the view of the beautiful bay. Fabulous turquoise sea accompanied by mountain views. There are a string of quality restaurants a short walk away. Most of these are traditional, with a couple of pizza/burger places also available. Since our last visit a couple of late night cocktail/Shishka bars have opened up, so a bit more appeal to the younger generation.

Stayed for a week with a friend in mid May. We booked a twin sea view and had a lovely view over the pool towards the sea. Spacious room with comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space. Excellent shower with very good complimentary shower gel/shampoo. We stayed B&B, breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent pool area with lovely pool bar. Hope to return next year.

I stay at Almyrida Studio's which is very close to the ocean for swimming pretty quiet and very close to restaurants/boutiques and markets as well! Breakfast is offer at the main reception 200 meters away from studio’s! There is a small pool on the side of hotel with chairs and umbrellas!

Ok, so this is not an expensive hotel. It's old fashioned but still well-kept and clean. There is a fake windmill by the pool that really should have been knocked down years ago. It just takes up valuable sun bed space and makes the whole place even more old fashioned. The hotel has a nice pool and bar and over the quiet road is the beach. The dinner buffet food is OK, if not really hot enough for us but there a few good tavernas around. On the other side is their sister hotel, recently built. It's modern but in my opinion not well designed. The small roof pool is rather too shallow, I hit my toes on the bottom when swimming and there are very few sunbeds. The second ground floor pool seems to be in permanent shade and also has few sunbeds (although they have more on the beach opposite). The roof top area looks quite nice but the seats are very uncomfortable. The 2 shower cubicles (one male, one female) are both sides of a common area but don't seem to lock. The 2 toilet cubicles lock but have frosted glass doors that don't provide full privacy. But it's good value and we would go back.

This was our seventh visit to Almyrida, and it has not changed. We stayed in the Almyrida Residence hotel and the hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable, the hotel is immaculate, rooms spacious, beds comfortable and the food deliciously greek.

Can’t fault it. There is nothing too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast we had every morning was top quality and plentiful. The location of the hotel was perfect , next to the beach and in the centre for all the restaurants,bars and shops too

This hotel is amazing. The position is perfect with immaculate rooms and staff that are so friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar/restaurant and pool are stunning and the resort is our favourite holiday destination. The half board is very good but there are so many lovely restaurants in Almyrida to enjoy.

Really lovely hotel in Almyrida. Staff were all so helpful and cheerful. Pool and outside areas very clean and well looked after. Top quality sun loungers and shade areas. Comfortable clean room, cleaned daily. Good breakfast, something for everyone I'd say. Drinks & snacks well priced for a hotel.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean with helpful staff, great location next to beach and very good swimming BUT let down by no noise insulation whatsoever!! If we can hear other guests then they can also hear us.
