I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for a night, and it was an absolutely flawless experience. The impeccable service and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable. However, in my haste to check out, I inadvertently left my pajamas behind in the room. Much to my surprise and delight, the hotel staff went above and beyond by promptly sending my pajamas to my home. Their exceptional customer service truly exceeded my expectations.

Bivio is a ski touring village - it wouldn't appeal to the average Brit on a piste - type holiday; there are only 3 T bar lifts. It would appeal to ski tourers who are looking for a back-country experience. Hotel Solaria is just 100m from one of the T bars. The ski room exits directly at street level and is well equipped with plenty of dryers and benches. The hotel feels like it's been newly renovated - everything is clean and fresh. The guest rooms are spacious, beds are very comfy and the bathroom features a full sized bath plus shower. Everything works. My group elected for half board. Breakfast is a varied buffet with bacon/eggs/ sausages/ cereal / bread / cheese / cold meat / endless tea & coffee - everything you might need. The evening meal was a hearty set menu - ideal for skiers. There was a good veggie option. The only thing that caused some tension was the situation with sandwiches for lunch: it was obvious that most guests helped themselves to bread & cheese for lunch, in spite of a notice asking guests not to take food out of the breakfast room......and on one occasion our group was told not to take food from the breakfast buffet for a sandwich later. I think it would be better to charge just a little more for half board and include a lunch time sandwich which could be prepared by the hotel staff. Best of all in Solaria is the staff - everyone was helpful, smiling - nothing was too much trouble. The manageress was extremely helpful. English was spoken by most staff. Overall, a brilliant small hotel - lovely rooms, friendly staff, excellent food. Would definitely return.

Heel gezellig familiaal hotel. Sommige kamers wat verouderd maar heel netjes. Heel lekker ontbijt en avondmaal in super gezellige bar en restaurant. We hadden een medisch probleem en de hoteleigenaar heeft ons echt geholpen en een dagziekenhuis gebeld in sankt moritz . Wat een service! Wij terugkomst laat in de avond hebben we nog eten gekregen dat naar onze kamer werd gebracht. Dank u w3l. Zo een fijne familiezaak

Points positifs : - lieu - calme - accueil - personnel - repas (nous étions en demi-pension) - propreté Points négatifs : - pas d'ascenseur, nous étions au "+/-" 3 ème étage (difficile d'être précis car c'est un labyrinthe avec des volées d'escaliers partout, de toutes tailles) - douche dans une baignoire (difficile et dangereux d'accès pour les personnes âgées) - très faible éclairage des chambres - matelas de qualité médiocre

Hôtel sympathique et chaleureux situé en plein coeur de la Suisse... et le responsable m'a attendu malgré mon arrivée tardive de près d'1 heure après la fermeture de la réception. Très belles chambres, joliment décorées, vastes et très bien insonorisées. Fabuleux petit-déjeuner... et un prix global raisonnable pour la Suisse...

Très bon séjour du 18 au 19 aout dans cet hôtel classique de montagne. Excellent accueil, chambre bien agencée, bon petit-déjeuner et bon restaurant --avec un prix de l'eau minérale un peu cher (CHF 9), mais c'est la Suisse... Les autres prix sont raisonnables. À recommander

Das Hotel liegt in der wunderbaren Bergwelt am Fusse des Julierpasses. Das Haus erzählt eine Geschichte und hat nichts mit anonymen Ferienhotels gemein. Wir waren sehr erfreut, ein modernes Zimmer vorzufinden, mit Balkon, ansprechend grossem Bad und genügend Platz. Frühstück sehr fein und abwechslungsreich. Das hoteleigene Restaurant bietet einen abwechslungsreiche Karte, mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Unbedingt da essen. Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Top natürlich auch, dass dem Hotel ein eigener Reitstall angegliedert ist. Ausritte in der Region lohnen sich in jedem Fall.

Wir hatten 3 Nächte im Hotel Solaria gebucht und mussten wegen einem plötzlichen Coronafall den Urlaub absagen!Nach mehrmaligem Anschreiben erhielten wir keinerlei Antwort und wir ließen somit die Sache auf sich beruhen und den Urlaub einfach verfallen! Das sowas in der jetzigen Zeit überhaupt noch möglich ist, ist schon irgendwie enttäuschend!
