Used to skip breakfast, optional breakfast suit us. Room is clean, bed is comfortable. Our room is 3rd floor, but is 2nd floor, as first is supposedly below ground level. A ramp for transporting luggage.

has the best restaurant in town, but only suitable for the traveller with car.

Hotel location is not right in downtown but the room is big. Staff is helpful and breakfast is standard.

It has a little sense of age, but the room is not small. The disadvantage is that the sound insulation is not good.

It's located on a slightly hill so it's a bit difficult to get to downtown, but it's quiet and convenient as there's a public swimming pool right in front. The facilities are good and the staff is friendly.

A nice hotel that is very conveniently located in the city of Akureyri. A nice rich breakfast. Free parking. Nearby there is an interesting museum about herring fishing in the past. I highly recommend this hotel if you are happy with the price at the time of booking!

The bathroom in the room is a bit awkward, with no glass door, only a curtain; the location is very good, with many things worth visiting along the street; the service response speed is very fast, the best in Iceland.

The scenery is very good, the floor is very low, please note that the first floor is underground. Pay special attention when booking a room. Although I have set a filter that includes breakfast, there is a small print below that says breakfast is provided and paid separately. But this breakfast requires an additional fee. So I was surprised at breakfast. Only to realize that I didn’t pay enough attention⚠️ Be careful next time‼ ️I went to the fifth floor to see the snow-capped mountains, which were beautiful!

Opposite the hotel there is a swimming pool and a hot spring pool, 5000ISK per person, about 33 euros, very good. A little further across the bridge there is a forest lagoon, which is better, pure hot spring, 6000ISK per person, about 40 euros, which feels more worthwhile.

The hotel is located in Akureyri, a big city in the north. It is connected to the Aurora Hotel. The dining is good. When we went there, there were many elderly people coming with travel agencies. Even so, we didn't have to wait too long or it was crowded. The guy and the lady at the front desk were good at chatting and having fun. Parking and going out were convenient. The location is not particularly popular. It is not close to the "pedestrian street" and the bay. It is not far from the cathedral, although the cathedral is under renovation. The room is spacious, the bathroom is spacious, and the toiletries are satisfactory. The breakfast may be a tuna sandwich. The buffet breakfast here is called continental.

The toiletries are all from L'Occitane.

Horrible lay out of rooms (toilet just where you put your head to sleep!!!!!???) I will post photos & reviews as it is just not right! The beddings smelled dirty as if not cleaned (human smells) an overall chemical smell in the room and corridor that did set off asthma attack and crying red eyes and sore throat. I went at the reception to ask what this was and I was told some of the rooms had just been going through refurbishing and painted! The lovely man at reception changed our room on opposite side right a the other end where the chemical smell wasn`t to be found witnessing the smell for himself noting it was tickling his throat as soon as he arrived in our room, nonetheless the 2nd room was smelling like dirty human as the previous and dodgy lay out with the bed headrest right by the toilet only separated by a sliding glass door that was not closing. also the windows were of very poor quality and sipping cold air into room and the room was very noisy with traffic (cars lorries buses very busy road esp early in the morning) we could hear the traffic louder than London and Paris where we live, bare in mind we were on top floor! Best bit are the lovely views and breakfast(make your own waffles) was great as for the rest I can not recommend this hotel. HEALTH & SAFETY alone causing me massive asthma attack this is NOT to PROFESIONAL to subject costumers to TOXIC environment whilst other nontoxic room are available! Next time visiting Akureyri I will not stay in this hotel

The hotel is nice, however, the TV in our room was old and only had Icelandic channels, whereas other hotels around Iceland even in the most remote area had smart TVs. Also the TV was facing the shower and not in front of the bed. Staff during breakfast was nice and helpful. Hotel is in a nice location, close to the town
