Heute auf unserer Reise im Hotel Nagel in Südlohn untergekommen. Sehr freundlich und eine sehr üppige Fahrradgarage. Zimmer sehr sauber und modern. Der Dusche sieht man allerdings die Benutzung an. Aber man ehrlich man kann nu auch nicht immer alles neu machen, macht man zuhause ja auch nicht. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist gut bürgerlich, dort ist für jeden etwas dabei. Hotel-Restaurant Verst Gronauer Str. 139, 48599 Gronau (Westfalen), Duitsland Hotel Jack Schriever 404 punten Niet gepost Er is iets misgegaan tijdens het uploaden van de content. Niet gepost Hotel restaurant Verst ligt aan een drukke weg maar in het hotel heb je daar geen last van. Het paradepaardje is de keuken, deze is erg goed! In mijn beleving moeten ze daar ook hun bekendheid van hebben. Het inchecken was erg rommelig omdat dit gebeurde aan de bar tussen het serveren door omdat er geen receptie is. De kamers zijn schoon en erg netjes, wat er in moet staan staat erin. De douchecabine is prima maar een goede schoonmaak beurt met antischimmelmiddel spray is geen overbodige luxe. Heerlijk geslapen op een boxspring bed met een goede stevige kussen. Wat betreft het eten, het begon met 3 stukjes vers gebakken Ciabatta met een zelfgemaakte kruidencrème, ook kreeg ik een heerlijke amuse bestaande uit een groentecrème soep. Het hoofdgerecht was een heerlijke kalfsbäckchen, ik moet eerlijk zijn ik weet niet precies wat het was maar het smaakte fenomenaal en super mals met een heerlijke portjus. Hierbij dronk ik een uitstekende Spätburgunder. Nu ga ik het hebben over het ontbijt, je zou zeggen met zo'n fantastische keuken dat het ontbijt ook groots zou zijn. Helaas dit was niet het geval, heb nog nooit zo'n sober ontbijt gehad. Ik moest zelf op zoek naar de koffie. De keuze van het brood was reuze, 2 sneetjes zuurdesembrood, 1 sneetje roggebrood en plusminus 10 Duitse harde bolletjes. Het beleg was redelijk standaard. Ik moet inderdaad niet zeuren, maar gezien het niveau van de keuken had ik meer verwacht. Conclusie, ben je op doorreis of je houd van lekker eten en je stelt niet teveel eisen aan een hotel of ontbijt dan is dit adres een prima keus.
