Had a great time staying at Ibis budget Agadir. We stayed for 8 nights. A special thank you to Rachid for always going the extra mile when trying to help and Leila both at the reception desk. Leila solved many issues for me and found a solution. She made our stay pleasant and easy. The shower is great. You can tell you are staying in an international major brand Ibis. The decor was great. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but everything tasted great. Overall great value and we would definately consider staying her again. We had 2 rooms. Next door has a great cafe and a mini mart. The only downside is taxis. The area is being constructed at present, so to get a taxi it would be best to ask reception to call you a taxi. Apparently it is a fixed rate of 50 dirhams for a petit taxi anywhere in Agadir, or you can cross the main road and try to find a taxi. 50 dirhams is a good rate for anywhere in Agadir. The beach is about a 20-25 drive (promenade). There is a kids club about 10 mins walk away. my suggestion to Ibis, make a better deal with the taxi company for a petit and grande taxi with a fixed rate, because you have to cross a highway to try and hail a taxi. so a taxi grande return from the promenade was the same price for a 1 triple room stay. about 300 dirhams. Maybe slightly less. There was many hotel stays with cars. The hotel is also only 10 drive from the main souk. if Ibis can get a fixed rate of 50 dirhams for a petit and 100 dirhams for a grande i think this makes it a more better deal. but overall great stay and actually become very comfortable in this hotel. So Ibis budget definitely worth considering

Location- 9/10 It's located near the beach, around a 10 minute walk. The city centre is around a 10 mins drive away. Taxis are always waiting outside the hotel. Do not pay more than 30 dirhams! Room - 8/10 We were upgraded to a suite with a sea view. We also had an amazing view of the pool area. The suite itself was simple but comfortable. The bed and pillows were to my liking. Air con was good. Cleanliness was never an issue and rooms were cleaned daily. The only issue for me was the design of the bathroom. The shower has no door for a start so the water goes everywhere. The toilet is in a separate small room next to the bathroom, but then there is a square hole at the bottom of the connecting wall? Their is no sink in the toilet room, so you have to go back to the actual bathroom to wash your hands etc. It just doesn't make sense how someone thought this was a good idea. The hotel is huge. It has its own rooftop restaurant, another restaurant on the ground floor and a spa. The reception area was pretty decent too. Service - 10/10 The female receptionists who worked daily in the mornings and afternoons were very friendly and accommodated all our needs. The housekeeping staff were lovely. Always said hello and smiled when you walked passed. And again the restaurant staff were very good too. I can't fault the service at all. I think the service from all staff was exceptional and stood out the most. Breakfast - 10/10 Eating a traditional moroccan breakfast in the outside seating area next to the pool was great. Value for money - 10/10 This hotel is priced quite fairly in my opinion. It is not a 5 star hotel with a modern look room. Decor isn't the greatest but not the worst. Mid range furniture its probably how I would describe it.

The staff was very polite and welcoming. Rooms were clean. There was a problem with the WiFi and they changed me to a different room with better WiFi. The internet speed of WiFi was not very great but it was okay. The intercom was not working in both the rooms I stayed in. The location of the hotel is good. It is close to the beach (just at a walking distance). For the taxi driver, it was hard to find the hotel. The prices of the food in restaurant were reasonable. But they took a lot of time to prepare.

Room condition is ok. Because it is an apartment, the refrigerator (refrigeration room + refrigerator) is large, induction, and there is a kitchen where you can dish. The room was quite big and the terrace was good, but the bathroom shower booth was small and the sink was small, so it was a bit disappointing that the space for toiletries was small. Breakfast is not available separately and you have to pay separately to use the spa and gym. And there was no guidebook in the room, so I had to go to reception and ask for information to use the service. It was a new building, so it was clean overall, but there were a few doctors to visit again.
