Hovima Jardin Caleta

We absolutely loved our holiday in Tenerife. Staff in Hovima hotel were excellent, very friendly, helpful. Hotel was clean, pool area too. Food was ok. We liked the location, it was quite but close enough to nice beaches but a bit far from busy night life. There is a bus stop nearby and its very cheap to go to Las Americas or Adeje, easy to walk there too.

Firstly, the entire place was impeccably clean, rooms, bar, public areas. A credit to the staff. Standard rooms again VERY clean but in desperate need of refurnishing. Staff friendly no problems there. The surrounding area very quiet only a few bars within walking distance. The hotel bar was very reasonably priced. Please note the bar is cashless room number or credit card. The only ****** we had was the food. All well cooked and presented but choices limited. Felt like the kitchens were run to a very tight budget. Note to hotel management. PLEASE STOP using reformed bacon, it’s absolutely vile.

This hotel exceeded expectations. I went there on a family holiday and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant and food was very reasonable, there was evening entertainment every night in some form or another and the rooms were pretty spacious. The view from our room was stunning, overlooking the sea, and our room was also near to the pool. The pool was quite large and a nice area to be in. One nice touch was the hot tub on the roof in the adults-only zone which I visited daily. The hotel is also next to some small shops and very close to a couple of nice beaches. The only problem was perhaps the curtains in the lounge area let in a lot of light at night and there aren't lots of big shops nearby. Overall a very pleasant stay for 10 days.

La Caleta is an old fishing village very quiet with a selection of Lovely restaurants. The Hovima Jardin hotel was really nice for a low rated 3 star. Staff were lovely. Unfortunately the Entertainment Very Poor, FOOD was the main issue it was Absolutely "Dire". Selection & quality very poor. After complaining to the Receptionist, He was quite dismissive. We booked via Tui and find that their standards have really dropped, there was No Rep. or any Contact to liaise with. A lot of the guests chose to eat out, thankfully at the lovely Restaurants that La Caleta has on offer. The Hotel hosts Teams of Athletes from various countries as there is a Training Complex 1/2 a mile away, not that this affected us, but it is something that needs to be borne in mind as it gets very busy on meal times. Stayed here 9th to 16th, beautiful area but way too quiet for us, stayed in a standard apartment which was very basic, beds were too firm a couple of plug sockets were hanging off just very bland in general. Just a few restaurants around nearby so if you want some entertainment i.e bars and music you have to travel into adeje centre which is a 30 to 40 minute walk or 10 euro taxi. Hardly any entertainment in hotel nothing during the day and very poor acts at the night that started at 9 o'clock and some only lasted 30 to 45 minutes, only good night for us was the guitar player/singer on Wednesday. A lot of athletes stayed here using it as a base camp for the training centre which is about a mile away. Food was very basic same choices a lot of the time I think we counted pork as an option on 5 of the nights. Pros Near to sea Nice views Cons Apartment very basic/bland No entertainment nearby Food very basic Entertainment in hotel virtually none existent So to summarize if you want a really quiet holiday near the sea with nice views then stay here but if you want it a bit more lively stay somewhere closer to adeje centre.

Great value hotel in Caletta. We stayed half board. There was something to cater to all tastes. Generous glass of wine each night with meal. Rooms spacious all with views. We were v lucky to get a pool view . It's v quiet and relaxing. Staff excellent..especially Natalie who was just fantastic.. lucky to have her..

My partner and I stayed here February 24 for 3 weeks. Yes the furniture is a little dated, yes it’s in a quiet area, but we had a wonderful holiday. The apartment was spacious with a little cooking area. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, staff never stopped cleaning every area of the Hotel. The restaurant served an extensive variety of foods, suiting every palette. We booked the dinner dance evening on a Friday twice. AMAZING value with a beautiful singer. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be visiting this lovely Hotel again. Thank you to everyone who looked after James and myself. Should definitely be classed 4*

Lovely hotel in a quiet part of Adeje. Very Spanish in its design and decor, which added to the character of the place. The bedroom was very clean and spacious and there was also a small kitchen in the living area! We were fortunate to have a lovely sea view from our balcony on the side of the hotel, but there would be better views at the front! The swimming pool area and top roof jacuzzi areas were immaculate and very well cared for! The only disappointment was sadly the food, as most days it wasn’t the best. However, what really makes this hotel very special is its reception staff! Always so friendly, welcoming and helpful! In particular, July, Danni and Angela - thank you for making my first stay very happy with my best friend Christine! Xx

Short break, bed and breakfast. Hotel is medium size, very clean, by the sea with lovely views. Food and service very good. Reception staff very helpful. Good location for nearby bars and restaurants. About 30 to 40 minute walk long the beach to main Costa Adeje. Jet 2 reps, very helpful and gave good advice re car hire and places to see. Can park hire very short walk by hotel. Near Volcano and easy drive to Santa Cruz. Lovely time and would definitely book hotel again. Costa Adeje.
