I was told that Hirugami Onsen is the best place to stay in Achi Village, where you can see the best starry sky in Japan. A successful two-night stay in a serene a**osphere. The inn is very pleasant with beautiful gardens and several baths. We had a room on the ground floor with a large private bath (wooden bathtub): it was very nice. Meals are served in a private room with a person looking after you. We don't speak Japanese but with the telephone translation system, we were able to discuss the dishes. It was a complete dinner with lots of discoveries. There was a party in the village and the reception gave us raffle tickets to participate. Unfortunately the sky was overcast and we didn't see the stars.
