Zuela Guesthouse
3.8/523 Reviews
City Center
Zuela Guesthouse is located at the very center of the small town of Luang Namtha. It’s right opposite to the Night Market which is great for a late night dinner after a long trek. Around the guesthouse are also all the major tour agencies with whom you can book tours. The place itself is nice, with traditional wooden architecture and nice bedrooms. Operating staff is very young and a bit inexperienced, so it can take a bit longer to get things through, but not a major issue to enjoy the stay. Breakfast has 4 different choices, each one is good. Beds are relatively comfortable but could use an upgrade in terms of mattresses and insulating rooms from outside. Big plus, they offer mountain bikes, scooters as well as dirt bikes for rent! Overall a very nice stay keeping in mind the location and the very limited options around.
Tulip Hotel Namtha
4.3/57 Reviews
I can’t say that it was the best hotel we had ever stayed at but we certainly had a nice stay at the Tulip hotel. At first sight it felt a little be out of place with the play park for the children , the restaurant and bar and the huge house. But then it all works well. The staff is absolutely fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay as easy and pleasant as they could. Nothing was too much or too complicated. Loved the lunch /dinner menu in the restaurant, food is local and fresh. Prices are very reasonable. Free bicycles and scooters are available for rent at 8usd for 1/2 day. So quite good value. The rooms are very spacious and beds comfortable. TV had Netflix and YouTube if you want to watch TV. Beautiful large windows with an amazing view over the fields and mountains (1st floor). The bathroom could however have been a little cleaner as there was rust and chipping tiles. The shower get was empty and wasn’t replenished and also the towels have definitely seen better days. Other than that, it was a brilliant stay, we definitely recommend if you’re planning to visit luang Namtha.
Jindu Hotel
3.9/510 Reviews
The room was clean and odorless. The front desk was warm. I communicated with the hotel in advance to pick me up at the port. I sent me to the Moding High-speed Railway Station the next day. The Bumblebee at the door supported the punch card.
Bodhi Hotel

Firstly, easy commute from and to the China-Lao Railway Station. In addition, there is free shuttle service to the Boten Checkpoint. Wonderful spread of breakfast. For the 3 days we were there, each day we were offered with different varieties.
Boten YouJia Residential Hotel
3.5/532 Reviews
The hotel is located in the first hotel at the gate, free pick-up service is good, the room is clean, there is a refrigerator and washing machine in the room, and the view is good: I will come again next time and can stay for a long time!
Ming Hua International Hotel

The rooms were good for the price, the only thing that angered me was that I told the service girl twice in the morning in Chinese ” no cleaning, very good”. She replied ” thanks, no cleaning ” in Chinese. When I returned in the evening, I found all my personal belongings were moved for cleaning. I do not like people touching my personal belongings after they have handled garbage and cleaned the toilet.
Yannanfei Youth hostel
4.8/538 Reviews
It was first recommended by a friend during the trip to experience this youth hostel. Now every time I go to Laos and pass through Boten, I have to ”go home” and stay there for a while. The decoration is neat and bright, and the owner has a casual and free-spirited personality, which is very popular. I feel comfortable and at ease every time I step in the door. There are free snacks in the lobby on the first floor, which is better than many youth hostels. A treasure shop run with care, half business and half life, attracting customers from all over with its unique charm.
Five Tigers Hotel
4.5/58 Reviews
It takes ten minutes to walk out of the Moding Pass. The window is looking out of a mountain. The floor is located on the 16th floor. The reception is also on the 16th floor. The signboard on the first floor is not very obvious. The downstairs is very lively. It is a local market. It is convenient to eat and buy things. It is also very lively at night! Unfortunately, a large spider web on the ceiling can be seen as soon as you lie down, and the wifi has been disconnected and it is not very stable.
Pou Villa

Without a doubt the best hotel in town - but don't expect to spend a quiet night, even though you're putting down 100 usd/night. Pros: -Very pretty and clean rooms and bathrooms. -Friendly and forthcoming service. -Drop off and pickup from airport included -Drop off and pickup from town on a daily basis. -Decent English and Asian breakfast. Cons: -The cabin-style rooms give the impression of privacy, but in fact you hear everything around. It is baffling that somebody who intends to build a luxury hotel, would not plan for better isolation. You hear the music and karaoke from the bar at the bottom of these hill, anybody yelling for whatever reason within 500m, people from neighboring cabins if they are not respectful... and then the usual dogs, roosters, cats, and public announcements with music -”there is no bread for breakfast because we weren't delivered any this morning” -”you can't pay by credit card because the machine is not working” (for weeks) -”there is a bar but it is closed right now because there are few guests” Conclusion: This hotel can only ask for 100usd because it is the only fancy place in town. The cons listed above are not the end of the world, but it really shouldn't be the case given price and reputation. Value for money is better at a 150.000 lak in town (eg Maneechan)

The Chinese service is super good, just like the hotel name sounds affinity, I am stepping into a foreign country, their affinity is like the warmth of home, the night is beautiful, sitting on the balcony to watch the mood is comfortable, empty yourself, especially the room is very clean, And there is no smell, good ventilation, towels and bath towels are very clean, the hotel is free of check-out, saving time, I feel very practical, the room configuration is high-energy monitoring to help us manage, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in Moding!
