Just next to the Messe Prater underground station, single room with king size bed very clean, very well soundproof with good wifi, wide shower space and no morning light thanks to the blocking curtain. Breakfast is top, with plenty of choice and quality products including hummus, fresh and dry fruit, vegetables, porridge, sweets, various vegetable milks and much more. Kind and efficient staff, very good value for money.

The hotel is located about 10 or 12 minutes' walk from Prater underground station, in a quiet street near the trade show arena. The room was technically fairly large, but a large portion of the area not occupied by my bed was for some reason occupied by an additional, smaller bed, as a result of which there was no space to do exercises, for example. I found the internet connection to be poor. Whenever I disconnected for any reason (in the elevator, sustained disuse of the phone, entry into flight mode), then the connection didn't automatically return. The fitness room was not much, just slightly better than nothing, and unfortunately, they limit the hours for some obscure reason, closing it already at 22:00. The breakfast was halfway decent. I appreciated the falafel and the commercially packaged tomato spread. The rolls were good. The fruit selection was rather negligible. I was very positively impressed by the fact that breakfast started at 06:00. I'll probably stay here again some day, but it will never be a hotel to get excited about.

Four people, dad and three young adult children - we had four single beds which is rare. Found it hard to rate but pros were: great price, large room, four single beds. Cons: No safe for passports (only some rooms have one apparently which for a new hotel is poor), no kettle and noisy at night (near amusement park). The room was odd and they should have focused on practicalities versus funky (bathroom looks cool but the shower floods it. And room was very dark). Location necessitates transit but very close to a metro.

We arrived at night and our 2 year old looked up at the fun fair and shouted “colours!”. Thankfully, whilst you could hear some of the rides from the room it was muffled and not intrusive. The rooms are ideal for family travel. ReasonBly priced and very spacious. No bath but the deep sink in the kitchen just fitted our toddler. Comfortable mattress, fantastic shower and the kitchen is really well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. Delicious buffet spread and fresh items on the menu alongside. Plenty for veggies and vegans. There’s parking next to the hotel for €25 a night which is reasonable for the area.

Great location, very roomy and comfy, a little quirky. For example, American travelers might expect coffee or a hot water carafe in the room. There is a small Nespresso machine but you’ll need to walk a few blocks to get a proper cup,of coffee in the morning, The staff is amazingly friendly and the gym/sauna area is nice. Did not get to the restaurant but it looked nice. Close to Prater and to the U1 station, a short stroll to the Danube. It’s nice to be in a Vienna neighborhood as opposed to downtown in the Center.

This hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice, modern bar/lobby area. The breakfast was really good and we particularly enjoyed the fresh waffle machine. My only downside would be unless you were visiting the fair that there isn’t too much in the area. There was a local burger bar that was full so we struggled to find anywhere else to eat and wished we’d just eaten in the hotel in the end. A nice hotel but just be warned it’s in a very quiet (potentially business) district within the city.

The hotel is conveniently located between the train stations between MID and HBF. There are several routes to choose from in 5 minutes walk. You can buy Vienna traffic tickets for a very high price! The hotel can store luggage, has a refrigerator, a blower, the room is more spacious, the bed is very soft, there is air conditioning and heating. There are also many restaurants nearby. It is convenient to go to attractions. The shoe-shoe machine on the first floor of the lobby is good.

At my grandchildren's 10th anniversary, I wanted to go to Vienna and chose the hotel in question, and I was very pleased with it. The hotel, although far from the city centre and Vienna airport, is very well connected to these with timely and efficient trains and metro even during night hours. The structure is located in a shopping centre with all services including shops, bars, restaurants and a discotheque, and therefore, in the event, you can enjoy even without moving ”home”. The Danube is also very close and you can walk in the green parks that are upside the river. The staff of the hotel speak so many languages, they are all kind and prepared, and the rooms are spacious and clean regularly, unless you choose to give up The breakfast is served until late morning and it really offers everything with high quality and quantity standards. I found everything I was looking for and that was offered to me. Perhaps, as a pine, I found the bed coats too ”mole” but, for the rest (as already pointed out), I have nothing to complain about.

The location in the immediate vicinity of the main train station is very advantageous for problem-free arrival and departure, for example by train from the airport for little money. There is no need for a taxi. All destinations in Vienna can be reached very well by subway or tram are available a short distance from the hotel. The breakfast is good. Absolutely sufficient. We had booked a room with a garden view, which we would not do again in retrospect. Our room had a view of a canopy and the surrounding residential buildings. The room was in On the first floor. It was quiet You have to kneel on the floor if you want to use it. Personally, I didn't think it was that great to prepare a cup of coffee or tea in between. Actually, I expect that when a hotel is classified with 4 stars on many hotel websites. Conclusion: I was satisfied with the stay, but would try something different next time-

The hotel nestles in a quiet side street a 2 minute walk from St Stephanplatz. The friendly uniformed staff compliment the opulent decorations. The highly polished brass interior of the lift offers a clue to the high standard of the room that awaits you. The bathrooms are decorated tastefully with Versace tiles, well maintained and clean as was the lovely bedroom with its fabric wall coverings and beautiful chandeliers typical of the traditional Viennese style. The windows open onto the narrow cobbled street peppered with a few restaurants of a class that commands peaceful patronisation. Following an extremely restful night on an enormous bed with pillows chosen from the menu, one will descend to the restaurant where a veritable cornucopia of delights await. Coffee and small treats are freely available 24 hours a nice touch. There is no bar but drinks will be brought to the small lounge area should you so desire. This is a hotel of excellent value for money where nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We will return here often. Ian

The Westbahn hotel was in a 1950's building mostly renovated up to modern standards and in perfect condition, but keeping some of the original elements like an old lift (which was super slow). I enjoyed my room. The only negative thing about it was that some traffic noise from the street came through. There was no AC, but in March it wasn't an issue. The hotel is located very close to the Westbahnhof railway station. There was a shopping mall in the station. In addition there was a supermarket directly across the street. Breakfast was really good. It had e.g. fresh croissants, bratwurst and a pancake machine which prepared fresh pancakes by the press of a button.

Ive stayed at many Ritz properties in city centers all over the world and this one is by far and away the nicest I’ve ever stayed at, both in terms of service as well as the property itself. When I arrived (on foot) I was immediately greeted by the bellman who offered to take my luggage. Check-in was pleasant and I was offered a glass of sparkling wine. As a Titanium member, I was proactively upgraded from a Deluxe room to a Premier Executuve room on the 2nd floor. I really could not tell the difference, but it was still a very nice room (more on that later). I was happy to see they my room was ready at noon and my bags were delivered to the room about five minutes after I arrived. As a Titanium member, I was also offered a property specific welcome gift that I was able to cash in for a 17€ cocktail at the bar by the lobby. The room was absolutely stunning, and was a nice mix of modern and classic. The ceilings mort have been 15 feet high! Bathroom amenities were by Dyptique. The bed was heavenly as were the pillows and bedding; I never wanted to get out of bed! I loved how all the light switches were labeled with what they controlled. The room had a mini bar, Nespresso machine, and plenty of complimentary bottles of water that were replenished twice per day. I simply cannot day enough good things about this room. One minor issue I had, there was a small leak coming from my toilet that I reported that never appeared to be addressed. It didn’t really bother me, but it did appear to get worse throughout my stay. I was able to dine at all the restaurants during my stay. The food at the steakhouse and Italian restaurant was absolutely out of this world, service was good, and drinks were delicious. Prices were fairly high, but it was a nice splurge, and I think the quality and service delivered were in line with what they were charging. I went for a night cap at DBar, and they have a great selection to choose from. I tried the roof bar, but it was about to rain so I was advised to leave as there was no covering. My rate included breakfast, and there was a good selection of hot and cold options, and I was also entitled to a dish from the menu. The buffet was very high quality, especially the pastries; one of the best pain aux raisins I’ve ever had. I did go to the pool and liked the ambiance of the spa area; I wish I could have spent more time there. I had one service issue, which was that during my stay, it was Vienna Pride. The parade passed by the hotel entrance and I guess it got so crazy that the hotel basically went on lockdown and it was nearly impossible to enter. It took me a while to finally get someone to let me in. Not sure how that could have been avoided, but that irked me a little. Great hotel, highly recommend, can’t wait to return!

The service at the Marriott was excellent, the rooms were immaculate, there is a large indoor heated pool we enjoyed, there were lots of people at the front desk and it has a great location. The hop on hop off bus stops at the front door, it is walking distance to Mozart's house and the magnificent St. Stephen's cathedral, the hofburg with the imperial apartments, the Spanish riding school, cici museum, the royal Treasury with the crown jewels, and the Jewish museum. There are lots of fine shops and a variety of restaurants in the area as well as a pedestrian shopping area. We were disappointed with lunch at the Garden cafe but there are other places to dine. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.

After reading reviews of this hotel I was really looking forward to staying here. First impression is like an old office block but it is very trendy inside, welcome was very friendly and a very good first impression. As the location of hotel is quite a walk into town we thought we’d have dinner in hotel. We certainly wished we hadn’t. The waiter was nothing other than rude. We had curry which was bland and just warm with dried out rice. We never received our side order which we asked for twice. Despite the restaurant having only approximately 3 other tables occupied we never received any service, we went to the bar twice to ask for a drink, then ask where our side was which still never came. Waiter just on phone and seemed annoyed when we asked something. When we asked for another drink again at the bar ourselves, we asked what deserts were available to a response of ‘fridge’ and pointed across to the other side of bar. We chose the driest brownie available and wish we hadn’t. When he came with the bill, he informed us twice service not included..which I informed him, we had received near to no service and that what we did receive was awful! He laughed. We paid over €70 for 2 bland chicken curries and a few beers & a brownie. He then forgot the drink we’d ordered at the bar so when I went up he then said he had no change (probably because I’d not tipped the awful service previously). How can you not have change from a €10 note? So after waiting for a minute whilst he kept looking in the same wallet I told him to keep the €5 euro change. It left a very bad impression of the hotel on our first night in Vienna after travelling from two other cities and hotels that offered impeccable service. Such a shame when the rest of the staff seemed so customer focused. However the reason I’ve given 3 stars is the rest of the staff were lovely. Breakfast is fantastic and the gent who runs breakfast was very helpful. Room nice, a tad small, think it’s all designed to be trendy more than comfort, but no complaints apart from big, shower gels and soap, one completely empty and one with scraps of soap left. These should be changed when the room made up, especially when paying a premium for class of room. In all beautiful decor downstairs, on whole friendly staff, would I stay here again probably not.

I have been to Hotel Austria twice, both for the Christmas holidays when the nearby Rotenturmstrasse was decorated with its huge red balls. The location is not just convenient to two subway lines, but also a really short walking distance--10 minutes to Stephansdom. There is a Spar Gourmet right across the street and many shops and restaurants near by (check out the Cafe Diglas) as the area is itself technically in the Inner Stadt (city center). But what really stands out is how eager to please the staff is. The first time I visited it was so long ago there were no smartphones, but the front desk always gave us accurate and easy directions to all locations we wanted. Clean, warm, and in a quiet corner tucked away from the main street, it is a real gem

This is truly an extraordinary, amazing hotel. The location just could not be any better, right next to the Opera House in the centre of Vienna. You can walk to most everything or there are major tram and Metro lines right outside the door. The hotel itself is classic and luxurious with old world charm, like being in a beautiful museum. And the rooms; without a doubt, this is the nicest hotel room I have ever had. It was spacious and comfortable with classic furnishings, sumptuous, exquisite bedding and delicious smelling toiletries. But the best part about this hotel is the staff. Genuinely warm and helpful service from everyone we encountered. From before we even arrived until the moment we left, we were made to feel welcome and valued. The concierge, the restaurant staff, front desk, housekeeping; no one could have been nicer, more helpful, or more accommodating. The breakfast was beyond excellent with the crowning touch being a honeycomb with fresh honey from their very own beehive on the roof of the hotel. I just can't wait to come back. When I explained that I couldn't eat breakfast because I left early the next morning, I was grateful to try to provide a simple breakfast, but for me, it was too early in the morning. I heard that my friend lives in a nearby hotel. Instead of eating breakfast, he eats fruit and lunch, so if there is such a service, it would be better. The room was also good, although a bit small, but no real complaint, just an observation. What brings this hotel down is the breakfast. There’s nothing done right in there. The coffee is bad (which I don’t get, because they have a fancy espresso machine up front, but they get the coffee from the back?!), the scrambled eggs are bad, the juice is bad… Everything just feels cheap and without any thought. We arrived hours early and our room had not been cleaned but the staff kept our luggage in a secure place and said the room would be ready well before the usual check-in time. Our room was large with a view over Pasteurgasse, very comfortable and with the toilet separate from the shower/bath - a great idea. The hotel is in a great location - the front entrance leads down to tram D (for Ringstrasse and Schottentor) about a 5 minute walk, whilst a similar distance from the back entrance is Waehringer Strasse with a tram roughly every 2 minutes to the Schottentor transport hub which is about 3 minutes away by tram. We chose not to have breakfast but there is a good selection of cafes and bakeries a 5 minute walk away near the tram stops on Waehringer Strasse. The area is very comfortable, pleasant and safe, and houses a couple of embassies as well as university departments. There is access to the roof terrace for beautiful views across Vienna. This was a very pleasant stay and, as ever, it is the staff who make the establishment a success - Vielen Dank.

The sights in the city are within walking distance, and the subway is far away, and it is also close to the subway station. The room is large and the decor is European style, very beautiful. If you are staying in the evening, please contact Ctrip for the first time in advance, as the front desk will be off work at 10pm. Did not eat breakfast, looked at it is not very good, very few varieties, went to the opposite McDonald's to eat.
