The whole group of showerhead children had a great time! The boss is very careful, and there are many things prepared that are quite intimate! The most important price is very close to the people, and the CP value is high!
The only thing that can be picky, no breakfast is served, but it is close to the city and you can choose your love. The parking lot is quite large.

|13.63km from downtownThere's limited selection of hotels at Sun Moon Lake particularly certain price points. The Fleur De Chine is probably the best around but runs close to $400-$500/night. We chose this due to the mid price range (under $200/night). We booked 2 nights (VIP sun room) for family of 3. When entering, we did not realize that children were charged additionally (they consider anyone over 140cm to not be a child), and then added NT 500/night fee for ”cleaning fees”. Despite arguing with them about the additional fees and not being clearly stated (”additional fees”) is all that is listed on the website, we were unable to get any progress with this. Be careful with these charges. This is an upcharge and as in most places in Taiwan, there is very limited flexibility. If you have children, do realize unless they are tiny/small, you'll get charged. The room was to be offered with a bottle of wine but did not come and only an apple sparking cider was given. The room was dated, appeared to be in the '90s, the view and location is probably its best attributes. they included a breakfast (with this package). Beds were ok, bathroom was fine and functional. This is not 5 star hotel if that's what you're expecting - would say it would be a 2-3 star hotel in the US. Also, of note there is another hotel part of this same group - that is more lower end which can get confusing (Crystal Inn) - it's probably hostel like based on the descriptions. Would i stay again? probably not. the first impression was not the best, would have wished for better details on the fees. If you want good location, this is literally on the lake so can't argue with that. If you're looking for a true 5 star experience, Fleur Du Chine is probably the place to go - it's amazing but comes with a $$ tag.

Music will be played in the park, to a few uncertain points, but until 8 or 9 o'clock, there are still faintly heard. Part of the room is a leather-resistant floor, the visible area is fairly clean, but the part under the bed ... The bathroom water pressure is super large, so large that the faucet on the sink needs to control the water volume to not spray everywhere. The check-in plan has dinner + breakfast, the part of the dinner is reasonable, breakfast is simple porridge side dishes + toast. If the price of the general double room 2000 is included with breakfast, it is reasonable; the dinner is thought to be a more complimentary part, will be happy.

But the room was just nice with the temperature similar to a normal aircon room and there is heater in the bed. Hot water for shower was constant. Room is very clean. No lift. We use the slope for luggage and only few steps for carrying the luggage. Best part is the star gazing at 830pm and we are lucky enough to have the clouds cleared and saw a few shooting stars!!!! Such luck!!! In the morning, we saw the clouds within the mountain! Very pretty view!!! Breakfast was simple but tasted good. As we hired a driver, we didnt need to walk out to the complex for dinner, but the road do look v dark and very narrow at night.

|13.57km from downtownVisited sun moon lake and held a small bday party in the room. Spacious room for balloons! The room still has plenty spaces even with two of my 1.5m number balloons. Balcony is perfect for Instagram shots, better use flashlight or else the background is lighter than your face. When we visited in December, there weren't much rain so a part of the lake close to the hotel is just muddy and brown, so just adjust the camera angle and your picture will still look nice. Close to the harbour, convenience stores, and the souvenir street. It has a huge parking lot 3 min away from the hotel, rmb to bring an umbrella in case it pours mid way. Elevators large enough to fit in a family of five with suitcases. The staff was nice and check us in efficiently. Tea and snacks are provided, and rooms are clean. They locate my granny's room next to us - really appreciate this. Overall, 10 out of 10. I'll definitely stay here next time I visit Taiwan. Btw I visited back in 2020/12 not 2021/12, trip advisor didn't provide me the option to choose 2020.

There is a floating dock with a location on it, where you can enjoy the view while drinking. It is a five-minute walk from the shops, restaurants and other living facilities in Yuchi Township. The hotel looks very beautiful, made of wood, the walls and ceilings of the room are also made of wood, there is a very warm and attractive feeling. Free wireless Internet is available. On the poor side, our room was obviously dirty. Several obvious spots on the beige carpet had a few large, uncomfortable-looking stains. There was a used wet towel on the floor of the shower room, which indicated that the cleanliness of the room and the level of preparation of the room were not high. We weren’t surprised to be staying in room 303 because we stayed for one night and didn’t expect the best room they could give us. The good side of the room is that the lake view is very beautiful (not all rooms can see the lake view), the bad room is that the room is just next to the lobby, so it is very noisy. The front desk kept music and heard it clearly in the room (I think there was a loudspeaker on one wall in the room). After a few hours I told the front desk staff if they would mind turning the volume down a little bit, and they agreed. We could hear it though the business wasn't that loud. Another group gathered in the lobby before setting off, and the noise of their talking and laughing was loud in the room. So if you are staying at this hotel, I suggest you want a room a little further from the front desk. There is an indoor pool downstairs which is great if the water is warm. The water in the same jacuzzi is also very cold. This time of year this place is quite cold, especially at night, so it would be great if you could swim or soak in warm water. We didn't see a person swimming when we lived there. Now talk about breakfast: breakfast should have been from 7 to 9:30. We arrived at the restaurant at 9 o'clock and saw a smileless lady. She took our breakfast coupon and didn't say a word, and then we were the air. There was another employee at that time. A young male waiter. There were a lot of empty tables, but the tableware was not set. After a while we found that we had to do it ourselves, we looked around and found some tableware mats and knives and forks and arranged the table ourselves. Then we went to get something to eat. Although they are still half an hour away from their service, it is obvious that they will not add anything more, and now how much is how much. Because of this, we have to eat several times, like fresh fruit, juice and scrambled eggs. I walked towards the two employees, who were at a table in the corner, far from the guests, and I asked if they would add more to their meal. The lady was still indifferent, and the male waiter looked blank. I motioned for him to come with me, led him to the food table, showed him the juice maker and scrambled egg plates were empty. He nodded, then disappeared into the kitchen, and after a while he brought a glass of juice over, which I drank with my wife. Five minutes later he brought us an egg for two of us to eat. At 9:25, the lady frowned as we left. The male waiter was invisible. When you are looking forward to the general breakfast experience at a Taiwanese hotel - friendly welcome, lead you to the table, ask if you want coffee, thoughtful service, thank you when you leave, etc. - then Sun Moon Lake Lushan Forest International Hall is really funny compared to that. My wife and I have been constantly feeling the friendship and enthusiasm of the Taiwanese people during our two-week trip to Taiwan, and we are impressed and happy with this, so we will not be less impressed by Taiwan because of this unpleasant experience. However, if you want to feel the hospitality of Taiwan, I suggest you try other hotels. (Fortunately, we didn't have dinner in the hotel restaurant before, otherwise we would be disappointed twice. We went to the Regal Resort B&B 50 yards away and had a very interesting and enjoyable dinner in a garden lit by candles. The place also has guest rooms, full of artwork and tourist souvenirs. This one might also be a good choice in the area.)

The balcony view is partially blocked by the roof of the wooden house below, but not as close to the mountain view. Many people should take their children to live, and we hear children's voices upstairs and downstairs. The room is still cold in winter and there is no warm air in the air conditioner. The location is in the small Swiss garden of the main attraction, under the mountain of Qingqing Farm. The front desk folks will make you feel at home with their happy hour that runs in the evening, with warm dishes and a full spread of finger food, hot drinks and other nice tidbits. The cute little cats are all around the place as well. The night view on the front porch of the hotel is one to remember for a long time. The owner of the B&B is a very nice person and makes you feel very comfortable.

There are all shops and restaurants nearby. The location is like a small town. Many shops are concentrated together. If you want to take the bus, it is only a 2-minute walk, which is very convenient! Then, the B&B sells Sun Moon Lake ferry tickets, which are quite cost-effective. It’s cheaper than buying them yourself.

|13.7km from downtownWe stayed at Shuian Lakeside Hotel for 2 nights, and the hospitality throughout our stay was the best that I've ever experienced. Everyone at the hotel was amazing, most especially the owners. Mrs. Hwang, I believe is her name, was one of them, and she went above and beyond. She was very accommodating with our request to change our room when we first arrived. The next day, when she found out we were heading to Wenwu Temple, which would take 20 minutes by bus, she offered to drive us since she was heading that direction. Later that night, she and her husband took the time to help us figure out which early bus to take in order for us to make our connection to Taichung Station. When we asked where the bus stop was, she went a step further to show us by taking us there personally! The hotel's location was perfect — by the lake and in the center of everything. The room was new, clean and comfortable. And what a bonus, breakfast was included! I was very pleased with the breakfast, which consisted of porridge, eggs, vegetables and 6 other dishes. Bananas were also provided. It kept us full till late in the afternoon. I enjoyed staying in Ita Thao, and Mrs. Hwang definitely made it special and memorable. I appreciate her warmth and kindness. If you're looking for a good hotel and people, I definitely recommend Shuian Lakeside Hotel.

The only disappointment was that as soon as I entered the lobby, an employee wearing glasses asked me to put my cup next to the window. He was so impatient that I and the rest of the house were at a loss. We didn't have enough time to check in. Put your luggage away immediately and go out. Fortunately, I met another employee from Macau who spoke Cantonese and helped me check in. He was very enthusiastic and introduced the surrounding transportation attractions and tips. He also helped me carry my luggage to the second floor:) Feeling first Peaceful and comfortable.
