Didn't know what to expect, I booked one night. Boy, how regretful I was. Wish I stayed longer. Bed & pillow were super comfortable. And the surprise? BOLSTER...! I immediately feel at home & indeed, I slept like baby. AC was okay, but the hot water pressure was consistently great, and it made my ritual of hot shower before going to bed perfectly kept. One thing I noticed is how the attention to detail is given to ensure the cleanliness is kept around the clock. 4 times I went to the public toilet and the seat is ALWAYS dry and clean. Yes, I have an serious case of OCD & yet I can't fault the cleanliness. Although a bit dark in Reception desk, Putri the receptionist is always eager to assist. The others need to learn from her professional hospitality attitude. Lobby is small but functional. The Hall meeting room is spacious. My meeting arrangement was easily accommodated and professionally well taken care of by Freshi Moreno. A big thank you for extending your flexibility toward my changing meeting arrangement need. Breakfast selection was varied & satisfying but the group's loud chatters turned off my appetite slightly. Location is great, rate is affordable but at product this good it should've fetched a few more rupiah. Concussion: Stay here. Period. Highly recommended.

This hotel room is good, but some of it is not it. sometimes you get a room where the air conditioner is cold, sometimes not. the wastafel here is also clogged. but he plus part is the water dispenser you can drink whenever you thirsty without thinking of buying more. overall, this hotel is good buttry to ge yourself in lower level but not floor 1 and avoid getting into room that more than 3 (example: 204, 304) because the wifi ia ****ty and youll only get wifi in certain places.

I would like to thank you for the great stay i had at your hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. I arrived around 12 p.m and i was greeted by a very friendly staff member. Mr.Asad (Receptionist Staff) was one of a very helpful, polite and fast to respond.What a very good job. The room was fantastic, it was great to be able to walk into a clean, spacious room and go straight to bed without worrying about a thing (Thankyou for the housekeeping team). I found this hotel to be great for a budget traveler like me. I booked it through agoda.com for a discounted price. I stayed two nights which was a good experience. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is strategic because I could get access to public transportation right in front and to food vendors when I was hungry. The facilities like lifts, toilets, etc in the hotel are excellent. Room's space is good and comfortable. The only non-positive comments from me are: no breakfast included because of the discounted price. I had to pay extra Rp50,000 for a small plate of fried rice and two slices of bread and a cup of coffee. I could get better offer with that 50,000 outside the hotel. Anyway, no big deal. I can further say that for one person only. I also saw women's hair underneath the bed. I guess they have not cleaned the room properly yet. Overall, the experience is good. I still recommend this hotel to other travelers.

The hotel is good. Friendly service When you first enter, it seems a bit dirty. Because the officers are clean. But it turns out the room was beyond expectations. Spacious rooms. Very broad in fact. Cheap price. Delicious food. Two days of staying, the menu has changed. Near the center of action. So it's nice to go anywhere. A pleasant surprise for us when visiting Surabya. Though it is located at West Surabaya, a bit far from where our meeting was, the trip is worthwhile. All about this hotel is just right, from the service to all the hotel facilities are great (maybe since it is still quite new). I would say this Westin in Surabaya is even better than the one in Jakarta from all aspects. We booked the suite which is amazing and the standard room also quite nice, though we dont get to have the premium coffee and ferragamo soaps. Union around corner opened till 2 AM and the hotel is attached to the largest Mall in southeast asia (from what I heard). However, I have not really used all the hotel facilities and I skipped the breakfast (because I was way too full from prior night meal). The only thing that a bit bother me is the blind installed in all the bathroom including in the suite room, where it is very noticable it is wrinkly and not properly installed. A bit crack inthe almost perfect experience. However, i would still rate the hotel 5 star for everything else.

Nestled in an enviable location, this hotel has rightfully earned its popularity among locals. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

When I was in Surabaya a few weeks ago, I tried to stay here because I saw their rooms separate between the women and the male rooms. They provide a single capsule with shared room or a double capsule with private room. There are 8 capsules and 3 small rooms. They are quite unique because they are each different from each other. One contains a shower, one a wc, and one contains a shower, a wc and a sink. Less? Obviously. But they also provide toilets outside the room on every floor. This hotel is perfect for short stays in Surabaya because at about 150 grand you can get a comfortable capsule, private TV in the capsule, easy access to the city center, free wifi, and you will also get breakfast and mineral water facilities. free for every guest. A little note that can be input during my stay here: 1. No phone in the room. So if you need anything, you have to go down to the reception or call the number that is already listed in the capsule. 2. There is no place to hang towels outside the capsule. It is not possible to hang a towel inside the capsule because the capsule itself is small and closed. And finally during the night here I was forced to hang a towel in the bathroom and it caused a bad smell in the morning.

My stay at the Shangri La Surabaya was nice. I visited for two nights on business. Before I arrived, they had arranged transport from the airport which was incredibly efficient and easy. When I arrived, I was given a room on the 17th floor which is the top floor. It wasn't bad but could do with some updates to make it look more modern. The bed was comfortable and a good size, although there were a few scuffs here and there. The bathroom was small but had all of the essentials that you would need - however, both the shower door and floor could have been cleaned to a higher standard. The hotel is located in central Surabaya which made it easy to access shops and restaurants nearby. I had access to their Horizon Club lounge on the 12th floor that offers delicious breakfast service with nice views of the city skyline. Overall, my stay at Shangri La Surabaya was very enjoyable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else who's looking for something luxurious yet budget friendly in this part of Indonesia. The service provided by staff was top-notch and they did an amazing job making sure my stay went smoothly all throughout my visit. The gym and pool are nice features if you want to sweat and relax

Affordable, modern and clean. Shopping mall is literally next door and selection of eateries are available in the surrounding. The building looks new and therefore modern and clean, however the room lacked soundproofing, you can hear any noise from the corridor and the surrounding rooms. Lobby is on the second floor, was confused when we reached. Parking is very limited, we were fortunate that we got spot to park, my guess you won't be so lucky during weekend or busy days. Staffs are nice and helpful. Very near to the train station which is one of the primary reason we chose to give this hotel a try.

The experience was good but somewhat marred by an experience at the Chinese restaurant Fu Xiang Hai. Its a great restaurant with wonderful staff and food. But for some reason as hotel guests we were not entitled to any discount, because we booked the room through trip.com? No one could give us a reason other than ”the hotel reception' said so. This was really disappointing as we had decided toneat there as we're guests in the hotel.
