Awesome experience, great hotel

The property is really nice and the rooms are very large. There’s a bus that runs up and down the hotel district across the street making it easily possible to go all over the great places around the hotel.

Not for international tourism. They treat you like a criminal if you don't book directly with the hotel. The worst experience that makes you confirm that Cancun, is done. If you want a similar price range in a real turquoise water beach, go for Hotel Fiesta Americana or Presidente. Also wakable to Plaza Caracol with restaurants and stores. Casa Maya us dirty, old, ruined down and the service is the absolute worst. Far from any fun, not to mention the green, dirty water due to it's vecinity to the openig of Laguna Nichupte and the ferries to Isla Mujeres. My husband and I couldn't wait to finish the vacation and get out of Cancun. We spoke with other american tourists who had similar experiences and were furious for their stay at Casa Maya.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. The breakfast was incredible, although the evening buffets were no where near as good. Very good hotel for the price.

The floor in the room was very dirty...
