We choose the junior level suite as we know we will spend much time in the room, due to the hot weather in yogya city centre. Breakfast is provided either in the common cafe or at the level lounge. We tried both places, they r nice. Evening tea and snacks r also included from 4.30 to 7.30pm and the spread is substantial so we could choose to dine there if we didn't feel to eat too much at dinner.
Happy Staff is it's asset and consistent in the entire team. They r warm, helpful and polite. Car rental is available at the concierge and it's convenient if U r covering further destinations.
The room has 2 levels, lower level is a living room with restroom and upper level is the bedroom with bath study desk etc. Well layout and nice.FromCAD 98

The location is good, and the breakfast over the five days was decent. The room is spacious, but the shower leaks and the exhaust fan doesn’t work, making the room humid and causing towels to dry slowly.
The facilities are quite complete, but they don’t seem to be well promoted, so they appear poorly maintained—possibly because they’re rarely used.
They even have a health room, but it was confusing when I came back late at night with an injury and asked my girl to request Betadine or something similar, only to be told it wasn’t available. It’s strange for a good hotel not to have basic first aid.

Very nice and newly refurbished hotel just across Malioboro and Tugu Station. The room is very comfortable with nice bed and amenities. The staffs are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is super yummy and has wide variety. Dinner is yummy. Gelato is very nice. Gym and pool are brand new. The free photo session produces many nice photos for my personally, love it. There is only a bit of problem with smoke smell and the staffs come to check and give complimentary gift. Very well thought. Will come back again for sure.FromCAD 113

Had a pleasant stay at Ayaartta. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And the room was clean, with housekeeping tidying up everyday without fail. As for the size, it was adequate, a normal sized room similar to other hotels.
I would say that all the staff (from the front desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant) were really courteous and helpful. It was service with a smile all day.
The hotel is situated on a very busy main street about 15 minutes walk from Malioboro Street. Getting around was very easy as Grab rides were readily available. I also noticed bus stops nearby which makes it convenient if you want to try the bus services.
Overall, it was more than worth the money paid. Dont expect too much though as this is not a luxury hotel.FromCAD 31

This hotel is my top recommendation for anyone visiting Yogyakarta! Booking in advance got us a great discount. The location is excellent, right across from the train station, and it's a short walk to the bustling Malioboro Street.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning was super cold. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The water dispensers in the hallway, offering both hot and cold water, all worked perfectly – a big plus! We stayed for several days and honestly didn't want to switch hotels, worried we might end up somewhere bad.
As for the downsides, the soundproofing isn't the best. You can clearly hear the mosque's broadcasts starting early in the morning. However, this is quite typical in Indonesia, and personally, I'm fine with it. But if you're someone who gets bothered by early morning disturbances, then it might be an issue.
Also, in some rooms, the shower door doesn't close completely, so water can spray out. These are minor drawbacks though, and for this price, there's really nothing to complain about. It's much better than many hotels I've stayed in Taiwan!FromCAD 91
