As mentioned earlier: The rooms are small but light + suitablely furnished + clean. The toilets and showers are large and really beautifully furnished. There are also generously furnished communal rooms and seating facilities outside. I used the hotel exclusively to sleep and for that the hotel was ideal. The hotel is something outside (industrial area), but free parking is possible for it. The greeting was friendly - there is nothing to complain.
Das James

My wife and I have just returned home after a two nights stay in Das James. This should be a 5 star hotel - staff is incredibly friendly and is on the forefront constantly - everything here is of a very very high standard and interior everywhere is modern and elegant. Best spa-pool-terrace-sauna area we have seen so far. Breakfast is fantastic. We had the gourmet menu in Restaurant Das Grace - also fantastic both in terms of staff and the delicious meal. The bar is beyond imagination superb - the bartender Mr. M.A. Coldeway makes magic with a combination of his great personality and his innovative touch when preparing drinks - don’t miss out on this guy when you are here👍👍👍
Hostel Flensburg

The hotel is a budget motel, located on the side of the road, there is a kitchen to cook, there is a restaurant to eat breakfast, a parking lot is suitable for self-driving tour, not far from the town center, the beach, the pier, and not far from the Danish border It is the best place to stay before leaving Germany.
Limehome Flensburg Holm

I returned to my hometown of Flensburg for a week, and wanted more space and privacy for a better price than most hotels offered. As a solo traveller, I appreciated the security of digital keypad access to the building and my suite. Suite M was well-lit, clean, and spacious -- much larger than a hotel room with all the amenities of a studio apartment. It was a perfect location to step right out into the Fußgängerzone (downtown outdoor shopping/dining area), a short walk to the harbour for ferry trips and scenic walks, and a block from the transit centre and taxi line. Contactless check-in/check-out was simple but do make sure to upload all documents, and take note of the building and suite access codes. First-timers: cars are not allowed on this street so be prepared to walk a (very) short distance with your luggage. I was so happy staying here; it felt homey. I plan to stay again the next time I'm in town.
Ramada by Wyndham Flensburg

After renovation Ramada appears nicer and more modern! Rooms are spacious and well equipped with good, firm beds (the old beds were catastrophically bad: Worn and soft). There is sea view from some of the rooms, unfortunately not from ours... The hotel is situated in a heavily trafficked road (but you are not disturbed by traffic noise) close to city center, bars, restaurants, etc. Breakfast is excellent: Even though there were not many guests in the hotel, they offered e.g. 3 kind of cheese, 8 kind of cold meat cuts, 6 kind of jam and even English breakfast with bacon and meat balls. The staff is kind, helpful but (very German) rather impersonal.
Gastehaus Flensburg Engelsby

We stayed in room #1 which was quite wonderful: very clean, possibly newly renovated. It was spacious and well-equipped, with a delicate yet sizeable bathroom. Five minutes away by foot was a Greek restaurant with friendly staff, quite good food and American-sized portions. Equally close was a small center of shops including groceries, pharmacy and bank. I would stay here again without hesitation and warmly recommend it to others.
