Lets start with the picture of the hotel..... Not even close to what it really looks like. It is pretty run down, but I really didn't notice that since it was dark when I checked in. The girl behind the desk with lots of tatoos on her face checked me in. That should have been the first indication of a 1 star hotel. When I got to the room, the first thing I noticed was that the heat-a/c unit had a broken front panel. It worked but just looked bad. My wife did a quick check for bedbugs (just in case) and found what appeared to be semen stains on the sheets. So we slept in our clothes on top of the bed spread. Woke up early and decided to leave around 3AM. turned on the lights and saw cock roaches running around on the counter. They still charged us $85 for the night. This would be a good motel for the original Motel 6 pricing of $6 a night back in the day. $6 might still be a little high in today's market due to the poor beds, lack of quality repairs to the building and the bug problem. We also noticed a large pile of old mattresses stacked up outside of the building. That's not something that you would expect to see. OK so make up your own mind on whether you would want to stay here or not. We spent about 8 hours in the room and then headed out. I have stayed in Super 8s that were a lot nicer than this mess and the cost was just about the same.

This is the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Reservation was made and paid for about 2 weeks before we got there. On the day of arrival I checked in about 3pm and after I got our things into the room I left to go visit with local family. When we got back that evening we were locked out of our room. I went to the front desk to see why. The man there said i needed to pay him a dollar. I ask why i needed to do that since i paid in full when i made the reservation. He started to tell me why but I could not understand him at all because of his strong accent. As for the hotel itself: it was dark, damp, smelled moldy/musty and the carpet in the hallway smelled bad and looked dirty and the ceiling was leaking. The people who own or run the place were very rude. Never again would I stay there even if they paid me to!

Our class reunion was Saturday, September 28, 2024 . We blocked 40 rooms. All were booked and everyone was very happy with their accommodations!! The rooms were spacious and clean, and the morning breakfast perfect!! For the banquet side, I would like to give a big shout out to Anne Eaton & Natasha Garthwaite for an amazing presentation. We were in the large hospitality room and everything there was perfect also. They decorated all the tables to perfection and even made sure we had 2 screens for our memories. Thank you for making our night so memorable!

This is probably a very weird review because I didn't actually stay at this location but I just had to give 5 stars because the desk clerk was so very helpful to me that I wanted to give her a shout out. A young lady named Mercy met me at the desk one afternoon. I didn't know the KC Chiefs were in town and there wasn't a room to be found but Mercy took the time to try to help me find a place. In fact she called 4 other facilities for me. Unfortunately, none of the other hotels had vacancy so I had to move on to another town, but I was extremely impressed with her efforts. Please, Fairfield Inn, continue to make these kind of personnel selections - selecting the right employees truly makes a difference. Thank you very much

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and clean. Although we didn't use it,the room had a kitchenette which came with many items to use. The area was safe and quiet as well. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Highly recommend!
