Mingchi National Forest Recreation Area

明池國家森林遊樂區位在北橫公路67公里附近，海拔約在1200公尺左右，是北橫最高的地方。原本屬於國軍退除役官兵輔導委員會的伐木場，停止伐木後，這邊變成森林保育區，後成立森林遊樂區。
