An oasis
A few minutes out of town there is this beautiful oasis. A stunning lake…..with geese…..a covered playground, lots of covered picnic tables, bbqs and toilets. Trees, grass and peace. Lovely.

What an amazing area. There is a playground, BBQ’s and even showers in the toilets, the toilets were nothing special but still useable. There was a lot of bird life including seeing peacocks near the ...
Loved this little spot.
What a great place to relax. Good play area for the kids, there is a toilet block. Lots of birds to watch. Can easily pass a few relaxing hours.
Nice, but have the right provisions
This is a pleasant and easy walking trail around the dam area. Be aware it's best to go early due to the heat and to wear a fly net because you'll be soon inundated by them. If you follow these guidel...
Dam full after rain
I was so pleased to take the drive out to find it full after recent rains. Everything so green. Only problem as is normal after rains is the pesky flies.
