hidehisa sengoku built it to pray for his wife's bodhisattva.
It is a temple built to mourn the Bodhisattva of Honyoin, the wife of Hidehisa Sengoku. It is located in an area with many temples, just a 10-minute walk from JR Ueda Station. There is also a children's play facility in the precincts.
Benyang Temple
I just went to Obon, so I couldn't go inside because there were worshipers, but it was a magnificent Niomon. It is a temple that Hidehisa Sengoku moved from Komoro.
It was a very heavy roof main hall.
It is a temple built by Hidehisa Sengoku, the Lord of Komoro Castle, for his wife who died in １５９５. This is a profound and magnificent building with the Niomon Gate. It was built in １６９２ years later.
