It was on the north side of the road from Tosho Town Hall. The building itself is a modern house without a cross on the roof. There was a statue of Ukon Takayama in the garden.
I went to see the Christian monument and the statue of Ukon Takayama built on the premises. Unfortunately the gate was closed, so I only saw the inscription and statue for the purpose.
It is a church near the narrowest Dofuchi Strait in front of the Tosho Office. When I passed by the building that blends into the cityscape, I didn't notice it was a church. I found a statue of Ukon Takayama in front of the entrance of the church. Shodoshima was an island of Christians before the "88 Sacred Places of Shodoshima" was built around the middle of the Edo period, and it was also a hiding place for Ukon Takayama. You can also enter the church. It is recommended to see Ukon's stained glass.
It is a church near Tosho Town Hall. The statue of Ukon Takayama was written on the map I got from the Tosho Port guidebook, and it was installed in the church. The chapel on the premises was also guided, but the vividness of the stained glass was characteristic.
