Jinci | A Dialogue Through a Thousand Years
Before visiting Jinci, I kept wondering why it was called the Jinci Museum.
After visiting Jinci, I realized that this place is indeed a large-scale live-action museum.
Architectures from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties,
Countless sculptures, steles, plaques, couplets, and ancient trees from various dynasties.
If you want to take a closer look, you really need to spend a whole day here.
📷
Upon entering, the first thing that catches your eye is the Shuijing Platform.
It is said to be the prototype of the Land God Temple where Sun Wukong transformed in the animated series Journey to the West.
Combining a building, platform, hall, and pavilion into one,
It is an architectural work from the Ming and Qing dynasties.
📷
Crossing the Hui Xian Bridge, you come to the Golden Man Platform.
The iron man in the southwest corner seems to be modeled after the Heavenly King,
Representing the highest level of Song dynasty iron casting art.
Passing through the Duiyuefang, you reach the Xian Hall,
The only building in China that combines a hall and a pavilion,
One of the three great national treasures of Jinci.
📷
After crossing the earliest cross-shaped ancient bridge in China, the Yuzhao Feiliang,
You arrive at the main attraction of Jinci, the Holy Mother Hall.
The eight wooden carved dragons in the front porch are all in different shapes,
Stand and watch for a while, and you feel that each one is alive.
Besides the architecture being a national treasure,
The Song dynasty maid statues inside the hall are also one of the three wonders of Jinci.
Now we can only stand outside the hall and look from afar,
But through their postures and expressions,
You can feel the dialogue that spans a thousand years.
📷
The slanting cypress tree next to the Holy Mother Hall,
Is the one planted at the beginning of the Zhou dynasty, another wonder of Jinci that spans three thousand years.
Deeply shocked,
Think about the different dynasties and people who have stopped by this tree over these three thousand years,
Deeply feeling the greatness and magic of life.
📷
The northeast side of the Holy Mother Hall is the Tang Shuyu Shrine,
Jinci was originally the shrine of Tang Shuyu.
Now this place seems a bit more serene compared to the Holy Mother Hall,
But the Yuan dynasty musician statues in the hall are also not to be missed.
❤️In addition to these cultural treasures, Jinci is also the earliest existing classical ancestral garden architecture in China, where architecture, humanities, and nature are perfectly integrated. No matter where you are, you can feel the flow of a thousand years of time.

The only drawback of the historical and cultural place is that the location is relatively biased. The cultural relics on the ground are really not a lie to see Shanxi, but there are many wild tour guides outside the scenic spot, and I personally feel that the protection inside is not in place. There are no warning signs in many places. It feels easy to be spoiled by unqualified tourists
The Jinci Museum is indeed worth seeing. In a few years, the wooden dragons and the paintings on the beams should be dropped. It is a pity that there is also the underground spring water repaired after the excavation. I hope to restore some aura! There are also tour guides who wear uniforms at the door. It's too messy!
I hired a commentator, so I heard that the history of Jinci is still relatively heavy. The unexpected egg is a large sculpture made by our Dalian shipyard, so I feel very kind.
The humanistic history of the Sanjin Earth is deep, the most representative is Nguyen Jinci, the three key cultural relics in the park tell about the long history... After the expansion, Jinci Park added the spirit and water charm of the southern garden.
Very worthwhile, but it is better to do your homework in advance, it is not easy to miss important attractions, China's first royal sacrifice garden, Sanbao (Notre Dame Temple, Sacrifice Temple, Fish Marsh Feiliang); Sanjie (Zhou Bai, Color Plastic, Difficult Old Spring) Don't miss it
