Warm welcoming museum employee
4/23/2024 what a great museum! Plenty of exhibits and buildings to explore. The lady in the gift shop (Kathy I think) was a wealth of knowledge and so welcoming to us.
It was neat but the little village wasn't set up like Walnut Grove. It was just a pioneer village. It was cool but I wish it was like the Little House on the Prarie.
We really enjoyed walking through the museum and seeing the various things related to Laura Ingalls Wilder and life in Walnut Grove at that time. The first building you go into has a room full of the ...

Worth the visit.

Very nice museum and grounds.
Great stop along the way on our trip to South Dakota. Lots to see and at at a very reasonable price. Very friendly staff.
