Eleven of these super trees will be installed with solar photovoltaic cells. These cells are not only used to generate electricity and meet the lighting needs of the garden, but also reflect Singapore's emphasis on sustainable energy and environmental protection.
Super trees are not only a concept, but also a symbol of Singapore's green urban planning. These tree-shaped structures are 25 to 50 meters high, like fairy-tale forests in reality, making people feel like they are in a green city of the future. The Marina Bay Gardens plan to build 18 super trees that will act as vertical gardens covered with tropical flowering climbing plants, epiphytes and ferns, creating a green landscape.
The Garden by the Bay is an indoor and outdoor landscape garden consisting of more than 1.6 million plants covering an area of about 1 square kilometer, located next to the high-rise Marina Bay. Opened in 2012, the garden is uniquely designed to be a cultural business card in Singapore, one of the new landmarks, a downtown wonderland not to be missed.
Supertree/giant Optimus tree, you can see from a distance these tree-shaped vertical gardens stand tall, 9 to 16 storeys high. These unique vertical gardens showcase tropical climbing plants, epiphytes and ferns, creating amazing elements.
It’s a bit scary (I’m afraid of heights) but the ladder itself doesn’t have abnormal noises and shaking. It must be very strong materials. There are very soft light everywhere. It takes good pictures.
