It's a cultural property of Seki City.
Original Text
It is next to Sekizenkoji Temple. Korezane Hirose, a disciple of Basho Matsuo, stayed here and traveled all over the country to chant haiku. In his later years, he returned to this house and lived there. The "Benkei-an", which was named by himself, has been rebuilt and used as a memorial hall.
This is the place where Korene Hirose, a poet of the Edo period and a disciple of Basho Matsuo, lived. Materials such as pre-products are also on display, which is good for those who are interested, but it is recommended because the admission fee is free.
When I visited Sekizenkoji Temple, there was a signboard of Benkei-an in the parking lot under the temple, which was free. Passing through the gate was a small garden, the Inen Memorial Hall. Koremori, who I heard for the first time, was born in Seki City as one of Basho's disciples, and when Basho visited Gifu, he became a disciple. The staff will explain the building, Koremori and his family.
