Great place to visit on open house nights to view creation, universe, stars, planets etc. Staff is very helpful making it a fun learning experience for people of any age.

A bit out of the way but well worth the trip. Located in the south of Calgary atop a hill, this observatory lacks any pretension. The director is very enthusiastic and very involved in stargazing.
