On my walk down to Tomari Port I passed this small urban cemetery. Virtually all of those buried here are US military and their families. The grounds are very well maintained and some of the headstone...

It is a foreigner's graveyard that is kept clean whenever you come. There was a person growing beautiful flowers, and when I asked, the neighbors said that they were cleaning the graveyard.
Posing Outsiders Cemetery
Since it is a graveyard for foreigners, it is different from a Japanese graveyard. It's not a tourist spot, but it was an opportunity to think about history.
