Great museum. I loved the costumes. And the guided tour is very informative.
Small but fascinating, the Museum of Costume & Textile is a must for trendsters, history nerds, vintage lovers or anyone who's ever wondered what went into the creation of the outfit they're wearing. The museum has an amazing collection of clothing: from impossible-to-walk-in silk and paper shoes from China to flapper dresses that look like they were pulled off of Daisy from The Great Gatsby to modish haute couture pieces. In addition to their collection, their exhibitions alone (which change fairly often) are worth making the trip to this Old Montreal museum.
This is a small museum on the ground floor of Marche Bon Secours. It features historic costumes related to Quebec or Quebec celebrities like Celine Dion.
