Mount Yuchan

Yuchan Scenic Area is located next to the county seat of Luxian. The altitude is 505 meters to 548 meters, and the forest covers an area of more than 8,000 mu. There are Jiuqu River, Laixi River and Maxi River at the foot of the mountain. The main scenic spots include Longnao Bridge, Ancient Yuchan Pass, relief sculpture of "Refugee Map", Mituo Temple, Longpan Temple, Baiyun Temple, Jinbao Mountain Ancient Tombs, etc. The planned area is 52.8 square kilometers. There are strange rocks in the mountains of Yuchan Mountain. The group of cliff statues with the thousand-handed Guanyin at the core of Yuchan Mountain is the exquisite Buddhist cliff statues carved by skilled craftsmen in the past dynasties. There are more than 400 statues in existence, and there are many cliff stone carvings in the Ming Dynasty. , under the ruler, smooth lines, lifelike demeanor. Among them, "Thousand-handed Avalokitesvara", "Nine Dragons Bathing Prince", "Enlightenment Map", "Liu Hai Playing Toad", "Eighteen Arhats Floating in the Sea", etc., are exquisite in carving, skilled in craftsmanship and natural in shape. The superb carving art is full of praise. The relief sculpture "The Refugee", a masterpiece of the famous national Chinese painting master Jiang Zhaohe, also inspired generations of patriotic enthusiasm to work hard. Ancient trees such as pine and fir are towering on the mountain, and tea, tung, peach, plum, and plow are all over the field. According to incomplete statistics, there are more than 240 species of trees in Yuchan Mountain. American swamp pine, loblolly pine; leaves like horse coats and white goose palms, etc. Today's Yuchan Mountain stretches for dozens of miles and is green. There are more than 20 species of birds in the forest on the mountain, including cuckoo, thrush, crow, turtledove, and bald eagle.
