Fantastic wall pdintings in a lovely village
We were driving around the area exploring some of the villages mentioned in our guide book. The frescoes in the church were fantastic and the village was also lovely, with very impressive castle ruins...

Just entry the Church ..... when you think when and who painted it .... Go through the détails slowly. Scènes represent hell, and it is frightening ....even nowadays !

We haven't entered the church because of lack of time but I recommend the village in general, old and authentic.

For religious monuments, this church is a must. The freshness of the 12th century revealed after a recent and expensive restoration work is impressive. Of course, they are not ...
