    Pause and reflect

    This was a little side trip and even though some are sad for what's missing, the monument and surrounding area still give insight to how the world changes.

    Confederate Historical marker

    Interesting marker for a site that is no longer there. Not much to see, but does explain the actions at Island # 10 during the Civil War !

    It tries to explain a significant battle of the Civil War

    Historic details are on plaques on a pier that extends over the river. Enjoy the view from out over the water.
