Visit the 'Mist-veiled Twin Cities' shrouded in purple, and see the romantic Jacaranda trees
When you think of Kunming, what comes to mind first? Is it the 'Spring City' with its ever-spring-like climate, the fresh cut flowers from the Dounan Flower Market, or the romantic 'City of Eternal Spring'? For me, the most attractive aspect of Kunming is its streets lined with blooming Jacaranda trees.
'Traveling afar to the human world for a stunning glimpse, to witness the grandeur of its prime,' pick a sunny day, bring a leisurely mood, stroll through the sea of flowers, and wander amidst the purple blossoms. Quietly feel the spring and romance of Kunming, and live up to the expectations of the Jacaranda trees in full bloom.
**Kunming Flower Viewing Guide: Jiaochang Middle Road, Hongjin Road, Spring City Road, Denghua Street, Cuihu Park, Oil Pipe Bridge Bus Station
Popular Check-in Spot: Jiaochang Middle Road
Kunming's most famous Jacaranda avenue. The nearly 2-kilometer-long sea of Jacaranda flowers is like a dreamy corridor, especially stunning from an aerial view, like a dream! There's also Jacaranda-themed ice cream on the roadside, too beautiful to bear eating.
Panlong River Bank
Several rows of about a hundred Jacaranda trees are planted along the riverbank. This place has fewer tourists, quiet and beautiful, more natural and comfortable. Standing on the bridge and looking out, the purple and blue flowers bloom all the way to the other side of the river, turning the entire riverbank into a purple and blue spectacle. Next to an abandoned railway track stands a tall Jacaranda tree, very photogenic.
Hongjin Road
The place in Kunming where the most Jacaranda trees are planted, with at least a thousand trees. Everywhere you look, you see patches of blue flowers, utterly enchanting. It's perfect for capturing the scene of flowers falling. Spring City Road
Concentrated on the section from the Eastern Airlines Investment Building to Tailong Hongrui Hotel on Spring City Road. There is a relatively low wall, which, compared to the relatively tall Jacaranda trees, allows you to sit on the wall and get closer to the flowers, with more angles for photos.
Little tips:
It's recommended to take photos before 10 a.m. or after 4 p.m., as the light is best during these times, and the flowers look prettier.
If you want to take photos of the streets, try to avoid rush hours in the morning and evening. It's suggested to wear white or light-colored clothes, which are very photogenic. Aerial photography from an overhead perspective is amazing.
You can get a Jacaranda popsicle, which makes a great prop for photos.
The river is located in Kunming at panlong district. And also give the attractive view to travelers to take photos and also good place and beautiful scenery
Kunming Panlongjiang has different beauty in different seasons, but early morning is always the most beautiful time of the year.
Longchuan Bridge, located in Shangba Village, more than 20 kilometers north of Kunming City, close to Songhuaba Reservoir, across the upper banks of Panlong River. The original rectangular stone guardrails on both sides of the bridge, the bridge body is built with rectangular yellow sandstone. There is a "long-rolling dam" in the north of the bridge, the dam high and low, the flood is directly flowing like a dragon, and it is divided into three strands to cross the bridge, so the bridge is named "longchuan bridge".
