Best place to learn about the East Japan Great Earthquake and Tsunami
I didn’t take any photos as I felt it inappropriate, but this is a very special location. It reminded me very much of Hiroshima, and had a deep impact on me that I think will never leave me, nor do I ...
The museum, in the preserved ruin of a high school, tells the story of the impact on the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. It is a marvel of historic preservation and storytelling. Take at least a ...
Exhibition of Kesennuma Muko high school old school building
Original Text
The old school building of Kesennuma Mukoyo High School is exhibited as a tradition hall. I walked in from BRT Rikuzenkaigami Station, but this action later made sense. When you come from the station side, the first thing you see is the building with a mountain of rubble. It took a while to judge it as a gymnasium building without a roof. I went there on Sunday during Golden Week, so Kesennuma ...
It is a place to visit, including the city of Kesennuma, where the remains of this earthquake are located. The only thing around this earthquake remains was washed away by the tsunami and nothing is the distorted embankment. You can see that Kesennuma itself was washed away by the tsunami, and it is around the city. In that sense, I think it's a place to visit. The roe is delicious lol The tour time was only about an hour.
I don't know if it's a very good evaluation, but I really understood the horror of the tsunami. When I was reading the composition of the bereaved family, I cried.
