A shrine in a residential area
Original Text
It looks like a local Ujigami, but Kakihitomaro is enshrined. It is a bright, refreshing and beautiful precincts. Access from the station takes about 15 minutes on foot, so I don't have a chance to go, but the Shinki felt warm. I want to go again someday.
It is a shrine that enshrines Manyo poet Kakihitomaro. It's right next to the house, but it's covered with trees and built quietly, so I didn't usually notice it. It is also famous for the Susutsuki Festival by children praying for a good harvest and disease-free breath.
It is said that this shrine was enshrined separately from the shrine in Shinjo Town. Since then, this shrine has come to be called Hitomaru Daimei Shrine, Kakimoto Hitomaro Daimei Shrine. It is a small but stately shrine.
