there's a playground for children.
It seems that the bus tour to see the power plant is free, but I couldn't see it because the time was not right. Still, there is a playground for children in the building, so children could enjoy it.
Power plant tour
The flowers on the site were beautiful and the power plant tour was interesting. I think it's a place where both adults and children can enjoy it even though it's free.
It was a great facility.
Not only the main facilities but also the attached flower shop facilities were quite good. Impression that it is for families with children.

Even though it was Sunday, there were few people, and it was good to be able to take a luxurious tour bus for the first time. There are playsets and toys that children can enjoy both indoors and outdoors, and adults can relax. It's better that there are few people.

Okochi power plant, one of the largest pumped-water power plants in Japan. It is a facility attached there. If you have time, we highly recommend a free power plant tour. Take a dedicated bus and the attendant woman will guide you in an easy-to-understand manner about the power plant and how the power generation works. It is also perfect for social tours for elementary school children (of course for adults).
