Coralville Lake visitor center
Just a little building at the top of a hill overlooking the dam and Devonian Fossil gorge. Enter for free, view a movie telling about the history of the dam and gorge and check a room full of fossils....
Great fossils on display
The Coralville Lake visitor center at the east end of the dam is always enjoyable for me to visit. The best fossils from the Devon Gorge have been moved there for display and safe keeping.
Our kids like this
In this area there are nice attractions. The fossil gorge is a place we come to often with the kids. The Marina is worth a visit, tomorrow we are renting a pontoon boat there. The visitor center is...
Visitor center right on the money !!
Needing directions to get to Omaha, NE... we stopped here to get directions and get a lay of the land for Iowa City, Iowa. People were very helpful and I picked up a lot of brochures.
