Guandi Temple

The original temple was abandoned a hundred years ago, and the existing one was rebuilt on the original site in the 22nd year of Guangxu (1986). In 1948, the velvet was repaired once. The temple consists of a mountain gate, a main hall and a wing room, with an area of 280 square meters. The construction method is similar to that of the Foshan Ancestral Temple. The roof of the main hall is made of green glazed tiles, and the roof ridge is decorated with images of pottery sculptures. It is horizontally framed on the pillars and the wooden trusses of the main wall, and various kinds of gilded wood carvings are sculpted, and the content is the performance scenes in ancient Chinese operas. The architectural style of the entire temple inherits the architectural features of Lingnan temples in the Qing Dynasty, bringing together architecture, sculpture art, calligraphy, poetry, couplets and so on. In 1994, it was listed as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit by Heshan City.
