I visited to get it. There was a very solemn atmosphere and I was given power. It seems that some people come to pray for passing the exam.

I was able to worship slowly.

It is a shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane at Tenmangu, about a 15-minute walk from Kitaitami Station. Since I visited on weekdays, I was able to worship slowly. In addition, many streamers were displayed around the shrine, probably because the annual festival was close.

It is a shrine also called Tenjin, a caster. Besides, it is spacious and calm in a solemn atmosphere. Locals often come to worship.

    The Tenjin Temple

The approach from National Highway 171 is a steep slope, so it is convenient to walk. I always push my bicycle up, but I feel tight. If you worship by car, you may get lost. We visit in line on New Year's Day, but usually no one is there. It feels like visiting a different place.

Did Sugawara no Michizane take a break?

    Original Text

It is a shrine along the Saigoku Highway (National Highway 171). There was a description in the precincts that Sugawara no Michizane, who was washed away by Dazaifu, was named from the place where he slept with his elbow on his elbow when he took a break.
