Feitian Square

Feitian Plaza is located in the central turntable of the main street in Longwan New District, Huludao City. It was rebuilt on the basis of the original central turntable square. The square makes full use of the unique advantages of Huludao City as the hometown of Yang Liwei, the first person in China's aerospace industry, to carry forward the manned spaceflight spirit of "especially able to endure hardship, especially able to fight, especially able to tackle key problems, and especially able to contribute". One of the city's landmarks. The square consists of the first person in China's spaceflight (realistic full-body statue of Yang Liwei), "Flying Dream" (abstract main memorial body), the realization of "Flying Dream" (relief wall of human spaceflight history), Jiutianzhu (astronautics memorabilia and popular science) and Daoyun Tianji (fourteen steps, symbolizing the fourteen laps of the first space flight and the infinite future) is composed of five parts. The astronaut's realistic full-length statue is 5.5 meters high (including the base 2 meters); the abstract main memorial body is 30 meters high; the relief wall is 2 meters high; and the nine-day pillar is 5 meters high.
