Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Asia and the largest cluster of waterfalls in the world! It was a surreal visit and one that I will never forget. We left early and I would recommend this to avoid the busy crowds. We took a taxi from our hotel to the ticket office. Tickets cost 220rmb including entry to the falls and the shuttle buses. The first shuttle bus takes you to a lovely scenic park, home to a rushing river and waterfall. When you are ready, you can take the shuttle bus to the second location. A beautiful park with endless rivers, streams and lakes. You can walk through caves and narrow rock passages to take in the amazing views. The next shuttle bus takes you through the park to Huangguoshu Waterfall - the star of the show! Before walking down to the waterfall, you can enjoy the bonsai garden and water lily lake. Huangguoshu falls are truly breathtaking and a once in a lifetime experience. You can get very close to the waterfall meaning you get very wet - be sure to bring or buy a rain coat on site. On a sunny day, there will always be a rainbow above the falls which was incredible to see. You can then take a long walk to the waterfall caves where you are able to ‘walk through the waterfall’. There are a number of different food and drink vendors at each site of the waterfall park. | Huangguoshu Waterfall. In the morning, I took the high-speed train from Guiyang North at 7:33, and arrived at Anshun West at 8:02 After exiting Anshun West, follow the signs for Huangguoshu to the transfer station (about 5-8 minutes), buy a ticket at the service desk and take the bus (22 yuan/person), which takes about 30-40 minutes. After getting off the bus, walk to the entrance of the scenic area (3-5 minutes) Scenic Area Ticket: Guangdong residents are still free, sightseeing car 50 yuan/person, other tickets can be temporarily not bought, they are available inside. There are three attractions in total: Huangguoshu Great Waterfall - Tianxing Bridge - Steep Slope Pond (Note that the sightseeing cars inside are one-way, with Steep Slope Pond being the closest, the Great Waterfall the farthest, and Tianxing Bridge in the middle. I went to the Great Waterfall first, so to go to Tianxing Bridge for the second stop, I had to go back to Steep Slope Pond first) First Stop: Huangguoshu Great Waterfall After the sightseeing car arrived at the Great Waterfall, we didn't take the escalator down, but walked down the stairs directly. Along the way, you can see the waterfall from a distance, and it's not tiring at all except for the strain on the knees. Along the way, you will see viewing platforms one after another, and finally go to the Water Curtain Cave (you can bring a raincoat in advance). After passing through the Water Curtain Cave, take the escalator to the starting point of the sightseeing car (escalator 30/person, round trip seems to be 50/person). Although it's only a 2-3 minute ride, I really didn't want to walk any extra. Second Stop: Tianxing Bridge I did some research and heard that the upper half of Tianxing Bridge is quite boring, so I only went to the lower half. After arriving by the sightseeing car, don't swipe your ID card to enter!! Walk to the left and go up the stairs!! It's right above the ticket checkpoint!! Keep walking straight (you will see many people walking in the opposite direction along the way, because if you only walk the lower half, the way in and out will overlap a bit). Along the way, you will see the Ponytail Waterfall - fruit-selling aunties - McDonald's KFC, and then you officially start walking the lower half. After reaching the Tianxing Bridge attraction, you can take the cable car back according to the signs for 10 yuan/person. After taking the cable car, a sightseeing car will take you to Gaolaozhuang, near where the fruit-selling aunties are, and you start walking the repetitive part of the way in. Finally, take the bus back to the entrance of the scenic area at Tianxing Bridge Station, because I didn't go to Steep Slope Pond. After returning to the entrance of the scenic area, also take the bus to Anshun West Station, the same 22 yuan/person, 30-40 minutes. Time: I walked a bit faster, arriving at Anshun West Station at 8:10 in the morning, and was back inside Anshun West Station at 15:25 in the afternoon. Remember to reserve 40 minutes for the bus ride from the scenic area to the high-speed rail station. The bus normally runs every 30-40 minutes, but sometimes it will depart early when full, so it's best to reserve more time, otherwise, you might miss the high-speed train. Overall: I feel that going to the Great Waterfall for the first stop is better, avoiding the crowd, and going to take beautiful photos first. If you go to Tianxing Bridge first, you'll probably be completely exhausted afterwards. Recently it's the dry season so there aren't too many people, avoiding the crowd for a better experience!

Huangguoshu Waterfall is the one of the place I would recommend anyone who is visiting Guiyang to visit. The location is around 120 kms from Guiyang city center. It’s taking around 1.30-2 hrs to get there (by driving). Better to get there in the morning since the ticket is included 3 tourist locations (220 rmb per person). After buying the ticket, you need to take a bus to the waterfall (included in 220 rmb). At the waterfall, you rather have a choice to walk or use the escalator to the spot (50 rmb for round trip / 30 rmb for one way). Recommended to walk to the waterfall and return by the escalator. It take around 20 mins to walk to the waterfall. Ps. You can bring the raincoat or buy it at the front gate if you worry about getting wet :)) #naturalwonders

It's strange to say, the Huangguoshu Waterfall is so famous all over the world, and yet this is my first time coming here. The Huangguoshu Waterfall truly lives up to its reputation. The vast scenic area is dotted with waterfalls of various sizes. You can witness the grandeur of the large waterfall cascading down three thousand feet, and also experience the delicate beauty of the smaller waterfalls, like threads of jade drawn across gullies and clear springs resting on rocks. The diversity of the landscape is not just in the varying heights and distances of the mountains and waters, but also in the crisp sounds of water striking the emerald stones and pine trees. If this isn't a 5D movie that brings the experience to life, then what is? In the beautiful Guizhou with its lovely mountains and waters, it's really easy to lose oneself. Nature's gifts are just too wonderful.

Finally, I have come to the grand waterfall that I learned about in elementary school textbooks. I could never understand why mothers liked it so much until I saw the grand waterfall myself. I was truly shocked by the scene before me... Wandering along the shaded plank path, step by step towards the waterfall, until it comes into view, surrounded by mist. Along the way, you will pass many waterfall clusters, with 18 waterfalls that have distinct styles of being majestic, strange, perilous, and elegant. It's no wonder it's the largest waterfall cluster in the world!! - Suggested tour route: Huangguoshu Grand Waterfall👉🏻Tianxing Bridge👉🏻Steep Slope Pond This is the opposite order of the usual tour route, which makes it easier to avoid tour groups!! Walk down the Huangguoshu Waterfall, and you can take a one-way elevator up. The beautiful views of Tianxing Bridge are all in the lower half, so you can start your tour from there. On the way back, you must take the cable car🚡 for a stunning overhead view of the waterfall!! I just came back from Guizhou, and the scenery there is truly breathtaking! Huangguoshu Waterfall, Xiaoqikong, and Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, each place is captivating and makes you want to stay forever. 🌈 First stop: Huangguoshu Waterfall - In the early morning, we embarked on our journey to Huangguoshu Waterfall. Standing on the observation deck, I was overwhelmed by the magnificent force of the waterfall, with mist all around, as if I were in a fairyland. Don't forget to bring a raincoat, or you'll get wet! - After lunch, we strolled along the mountain roads, admiring the cascade of waterfalls along the way and marveling at nature's masterpiece. 🌈 Second stop: Libo Xiaoqikong - In the early morning, we drove to Libo Xiaoqikong. There are seven natural bridge holes of varying sizes, with crystal-clear river water flowing through them, creating a stunning view. - Walking along the river, we enjoyed the waterfalls and the emerald green water, feeling the tranquility and harmony of nature. 🌈 Third stop: Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village - On the third day, we arrived at Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. I left the house just after 7 a.m. to queue for a sightseeing bus ticket, and the official tour probably started around 8 a.m. While on the bus, I heard the announcement suggesting to visit Doupotang, Tianxingqiao, and the Great Waterfall first, otherwise it would be an extra hour's walk. So we went to Doupotang first and ended up at the Great Waterfall last. We finished the first two attractions in the morning, took a rest, and had lunch. We set off for the Great Waterfall around 13:30, but unexpectedly, when we went to the Water Curtain Cave, it was incredibly crowded and we had to queue for over an hour to get in. The visit to the cave felt like only half an hour, and it was exhausting. The weather today was also odd, alternating between sunshine and heavy rain.

It is strongly recommended for the lazy, those with poor physical strength, and those with elderly and children to buy VIP tickets! Second stop: Grand Waterfall. (After taking the escalator up, it takes about 10 minutes on foot to see the grand waterfall) Continue climbing up to the Water Curtain Cave, a raincoat is recommended for 10 yuan, and shoe covers are not necessary.
