Great way to experience native Galveston island
Nice trail. Well marked. Saw lots of birds and mosquitos! Nice off the beaten trail experience for a touristy area like Galveston. A non-profit maintains this area and do a great job!

A bit hard to find with GPS- look for signs and the porta potty. Short loop, under 1/2 mile. We saw a snake, many birds and flowers. Update coming to pave the trails, add bathrooms and a pavilion
