Dongjiduoka Temple

Dongji Doka Monastery is a joint monastery of Nyingma and Gelug sects, and its full name in Tibetan is "Dongji Doka Danida Jilin". Sairi Beach is located in Dongji Township, Gander County, 12 kilometers away from the county seat. In 1837, the living Buddha of the Nyingma sect, Gabu Guan Aung-Jierebu Dorje, was first built as a tent monastery, and it has gone through five generations. There is a two-story Great Scripture Hall in the temple, with nearly 100 monks living there. The vestibule and interior walls of the Great Scripture Hall are painted with colorful paintings. These murals are beautiful in shape, full of decorative effects and strong Tibetan Buddhist flavor. The huge group of scripture flags and hundreds of thousands of stone scripture walls engraved with scriptures and Buddha statues in the monastery constitute a unique natural landscape on the plateau.
