This is a scenic area that "combines beauty and talent". Although it is very commercialized, whether you are looking at Erhai Lake, watching the sunset, overlooking Cangshan Mountain, or strolling through the ancient town, tasting food, and enjoying coffee, it is worth your stay. There are two accommodation options in Shuanglang: if you want to be quiet in the bustling area, choose Dajian Village; if you like fireworks and want to go to bars at night, choose Shuanglang Village. 4️⃣Wasezhen. It is close to Xiaoputuo, about 4km away. In winter, there are more people watching seagulls here than seagulls themselves. Accommodation options in this area are limited and can be considered as a backup option. 5️⃣Ideal Country. Known as the "Santorini of China", it is a group of buildings on the mountain slope, with a sense of hierarchy like "terraces". Getting There - The Cai Village in Dali is a fishing village by the Er sea. From the old city you can easily catch a bus going there anytime in the day. Cai village is a beautiful and tranquil place where there are mostly local people and long term immigrants from anywhere in the country who are living a peaceful life. I discovered this village thanks to a friend who is living there. We together went to a local food market (which is there almost every day and you see so much fresh local produce) and we explored the entire village by just walking.
