Accommodation name: Villa No.3 at Guanyun Vacation Half-Mountain and Sea View We booked a two-bedroom, two-living room, two-bathroom apartment with a large terrace overlooking the sea. The villa area has a good environment and is close to the airport. However, driving is needed to reach other attractions, and besides a few popular restaurants, it is not very convenient to eat elsewhere. Therefore, it is suitable for those who are driving themselves. 🚘[About transportation] I chose to rent a car and drive myself in Dali, convenient and free to explore around Erhai Lake. ✔️Just book directly on Ctrip. ✔︎"Zhongzhi Jiacheng Car Rental" has new cars and good service, so there's not much to worry about! My friends all thought I had gone abroad! Entering the picturesque village of Dali Wenvi, Dali really has so many surprises. Before leaving Dali, please be sure to visit Wenvi Village once. The white village town leaning against Erhai Lake, the rainbow road leading to the sea, the Italian-style garden secret place, it really heals you deeply, as if you've stepped into a world of oil paintings. 📷 Sharing a few of my favorite check-in areas in Wenvi Village 📍Rainbow Road Actually, there's no need to take photos in the middle of the road, the plants on both sides of the road are also very photogenic. 📍Back Mountain Enter the village and follow the path to the top of the mountain, the view here is very good, directly overlooking the Cangshan Mountains, Erhai Lake, and part of the ancient city of Dali opposite. 📍Muxinbao Cliff Secret Estate Right next to the Rainbow Road, I really love this place~ Next to the gate staircase is a Southern French garden, flowers and plants embellish the castle, very fairy-tale like. Bali-style clear water pool, as if you are in a tropical rainforest, full of vacation vibes. Circular sea view window, not in the room! But in the lobby, just outside the window is Erhai Lake, really super photogenic. 📍Seaside Coffee Shop Find a seaside coffee shop on the street at random, watch a shimmering light show here, wait for a sunset with Cangshan reflecting the ancient city lights, really very comfortable~ 🚗 Sharing my 4-day Dali itinerary Day1: Longkan Ancient Ferry—Caicun—Xiajiyi Village—Canger Avenue—Dali Ancient City (stay near the ancient city) Day2: Dali Ancient City—Xiaguan District—Chongyi Village—Erbin Village—Xingsheng Bridge—Haixin Pavilion—Wenvi Village (stay at Muxinbao in Wenvi Village) Day3: Wenvi Village—Shuanglang Ancient Town—Wase Village—Shuanglang (stay at Ningfu Seaside Inn in Shuanglang) Day4: Shuanglang sightseeing & return trip The itinerary basically includes parts of the scenery from the east and west of the lake as well as Xiaguan. If time allows, you can make the itinerary even more fulfilling~ Currently, the daytime in Dali is still quite warm, if you don't want to spend the winter, just fly to the seaside of Dali to see the spring bloom~

Two guesthouse recommendations: 'Qingji·Yinli'. Scenery: 4.5/5 Located near Wenbi Village on the east side of Erhai Lake. Directly facing Cangshan Mountain, Xizhou, and Dali Ancient Town. Due to its proximity to the cliff, it has a bit of elevation, allowing for an overlooking view of the entire Erhai Lake and Cangshan terrain. Super beautiful. Environment and facilities: 4.5/5 The guesthouse opened in 2022 and is quite new. The room type we stayed in is 'Buyan', which has 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, a private hot spring, and a terrace. The bed is very comfortable, and the room's bathroom and facilities are pretty good. They also provide Bvlgari bath products, Dyson hairdryer, and Sony Bluetooth speaker. Service: 5/5 The guesthouse offers 24-hour butler service. Inside the mini bar are drinks, sparkling water, drip coffee, and Pu'er tea cakes. During our stay, someone got a cold and had a fever, and the butler replied to WeChat at 11 pm to deliver hot water and a thermometer. They also provide breakfast and afternoon tea, which are of decent quality considering they are complimentary. The guesthouse also offers airport transfer services. Downsides: It has nothing to do with the guesthouse itself, mainly the location. Because the scenery is good, it's quite inconvenient to travel compared to the city center. It is recommended to drive. 'Anyin Villa' Scenery: N/A Located on the edge of Dali Ancient Town, it's very close to both the city center and the ancient town, but there's not much scenery to see. However, the fun part is!!! This place is within walking distance to a large market street next to the ancient town (yes, the local vegetable market!), which is really fun to explore. You can't find such places in big cities; I was dazzled by the sight. The vegetable market is ecstatic. Environment and facilities: 4.5/5 The guesthouse is newly opened in 2023. There are not many rooms in the courtyard, but the living room, courtyard, and room sizes are quite good. The public area even has a bit of the vibe of a Moroccan guesthouse from Wallpaper* Magazine. We stayed in room number 1, which has good lighting. The room has a separate courtyard, equipped with a mini bar, Marshall speaker, humidifier, bathtub, and smart toilet. It's quite cozy and comfortable to stay in. Service: 4/5 The guesthouse provides breakfast and a welcome drink. Breakfast usually consists of fruit, rice noodles, and a yogurt bowl. The staff is very friendly and responsive. However, compared to Yinli, there is no individual butler service here. After 11 pm, the staff basically goes off-duty, so any requests need to be made in advance. This place also offers airport transfer services. Downsides: There don't seem to be any downsides. The night before we left, we even set off fireworks in the courtyard. It's a very warm and convenient place.

Wenbi Village is worth visiting! Especially for those who love photography, any coffee shop, any intersection, is very suitable for taking pictures. Many friends who come to Dali are basically aiming for Cangshan Erhai Ancient City, and Wenbi Village is a place that is easily overlooked by everyone. Perhaps the place that leaves a deep impression on everyone is the Rainbow 🌈 Road, but in fact, Wenbi Village is a place suitable for slowing down and feeling slowly!
