Ciyunjile Temple

Ciyun Jile Temple is located in Moxin Mountain in the southeast of Daishan Island. It was expanded from Ciyun Temple. It was first built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 240 years. The temple has experienced disasters since its establishment. It has been repaired and expanded with funds raised by pilgrims at home and abroad since 1983. Now it has formed a large scale, mainly including parking lot, mountain gate, Van Gogh Qingyin, release pool, bell tower, drum tower, It is composed of Daxiong Hall, Jade Buddha Hall, Penglai Ten Scenes Poetry Wall, Tibetan Scripture Building, Ksitigarbha Hall, Yixin Pavilion, Ciyun Temple, Jade Buddha Pagoda, Penglai Tea Garden, etc., covering an area of nearly 100 acres. Go up the stairs from the parking lot, the left side is the Van Gogh Qingyin Cave, and there is a free life pool outside the cave. After passing through the high platform, you enter the Penglai Foguo Gate Tower (the entrance to the mountain), the left side is the Drum Tower, the right side is the Bell Tower, and the middle is The Jade Buddha Hall, about 200 square meters, is mainly dedicated to the white jade reclining Buddha, with eighteen Arhats of different shapes and sizes on both sides. Above the Jade Buddha Hall is the main hall of the Zen Temple—the Three Saints Hall, with a floor height of 25.3 meters. The main hall is the gold-plated “Western Three Saints” nearly 10 meters high.
