This place is a "living museum", although we didn't do the tour. We poked around the trading post store and spend most of our time outside visiting the dogs, horses and goats!
Excellent place to browse and pet the animals! Quirky, but some wonderful treasures can be bought here. The people are so very friendly as well! Put it on your list in Fort Garland!

If you ask you can go into an actual Hogan home of Navajo. Nice old west jail and other old artifacts with good historical teaching all free. Nice Navajo and Native American artifacts. Friendly family...
